I bought two of these lamps. One is still working, but the other one broke the first time I changed the light bub. It lasted about a week! The one that still works gets really hot with a 60 watt bulb.

Very convenient to use with the gooseneck feature and swivel organizer base. Additional items such as scissor, colorful paper clips, push pins, ruler and exacto knife made it an even better offer. Good selection of colors make this an option for everyone. I even purchased one for my daughter-in-law. She likes it, too.

i love this lamp becuase it was no assembly required! You just take it out of the box, buy a bulb and stick it in! The light quality is a nice clear and consistant stream (unlike my other lamp whose light flickered in and out). I found the organizer very useful as well to hold my extra pencils, pins, and ruler. It came with a whole bunch of knick knacks that maybe most people found useless, but as a college student, I found an extra pair of scissors, a razor blade, and paperclips very nice to have around, just in case. I recommend it. It's a great buy. Oh my only complaint is that the head of the lamp gets pretty hot so you cant really move it around after you leave it on for a while. My suggestion: buy a lower watt, or aim the light exactly where you want it and don't move.
