EXCELLENT PURCHASE FOR SMALL DESK. BOUGHT THIS FOR MY GRANDAUGTER WHO IS SO THRILLED WITH BOTH THE ORGANIZER AND THE LIGHT.

I bought two of these lamps. One is still working, but the other one broke the first time I changed the light bub. It lasted about a week! The one that still works gets really hot with a 60 watt bulb.

Very convenient to use with the gooseneck feature and swivel organizer base. Additional items such as scissor, colorful paper clips, push pins, ruler and exacto knife made it an even better offer. Good selection of colors make this an option for everyone. I even purchased one for my daughter-in-law. She likes it, too.

i love this lamp becuase it was no assembly required! You just take it out of the box, buy a bulb and stick it in! The light quality is a nice clear and consistant stream (unlike my other lamp whose light flickered in and out). I found the organizer very useful as well to hold my extra pencils, pins, and ruler. It came with a whole bunch of knick knacks that maybe most people found useless, but as a college student, I found an extra pair of scissors, a razor blade, and paperclips very nice to have around, just in case. I recommend it. It's a great buy. Oh my only complaint is that the head of the lamp gets pretty hot so you cant really move it around after you leave it on for a while. My suggestion: buy a lower watt, or aim the light exactly where you want it and don't move.

Everything great -except color not quite right! Ordered Red, but it's more of a pinky/orange/red color!

I just took it out of the box, inserted a bulb and plugged it in. No assembly required. Good organizer; even came with scissors, ruler and some paper clips. Excellent buy.

We purchased this lamp for our 5-year-old son, and he thinks it is one of the best gifts he has received all year. In addition to the lamp, it comes with a ruler, scissors, paper clips, thumb tacks and a box cutter (we took out the latter 2 items before giving to him), so was like a treasure chest for our son. The lamp looks great, and with a CFL, puts out great light and little heat.

I got it quickly. I made the misteak of getting the one with the big base that will hold desk items. It was bigger than I thought it would be. If I was putting in on my office desk at work it would have been perfect. If I get the smaller one later, this one will be moved to my other desk. but very pleased with it all the way around. great price, got it quickly. I might just get another one. but it will be the smaller one. (it isn't too big, I just thought at that price it was going to be tiny, instead it was a peftect size for a normal sized desk.)

I guess for the price its a good deal but overall, it is very cheap. The slots in the lamp base do not even hold the ruler that is included.

Very happy with quality of this purchase. Lamp is very sturdy and has enough weight so you don't have to worry about it toppling over.

This is a nice wallet with a separated bill section and 6 credit card slots as well as a clear license holder. The color was a little more orangey that I wanted but it's still more red than orange.

I LOVE the design of this lamp, but the quality is horrible. I enjoyed using this item for several months, but now the switch is "dead". Too bad ... It was very compact and practicle, but now it's destine for the trash.

I purchased two of these lamps and was very disappointed in them. Even when using the recommended wattage, each lamp was too hot to the touch (even with the acrylic overlay). The switch became more and more difficult to use and gave out after 6 months on one and 8 months on the other. I gave the product a higher rating of two stars for style and functionality as it has a neat storage tray and comes with some office supplies.

New Orleans Studio Gooseneck Lamp is very good for it more than reasonable price. It looks very well on the table and gives exellent light for reading or writing. I have bought 2 pcs for my kids and they are very happy with this lamp. Highly recomended.
