Hello!. I'm interested in getting this product but i have a question before doing so. I have been having a weird odor out of my HVAC system duct vent. Can this product be place within the Heating system for a few hours to clear out the smell? I'm thinking of placing it directly in front of the heating coil in the Trane System.

We have rental properties and recently had a fire in one of them, all of the contractors bids said "ozone treatment" and so I did my homework and found out that this is what they were using. I bought it and set it in my basement, we used to have cats and mold issues that left a heavy odor so I figured this would be a great start.. set this little guy on the ground turned him on and it almost took my breath away! Did a wonderful job, can't wait to get it in the fire damaged home! Make sure no one is home when using this, it will make you VERY SICK!Read More
Bang for the buck, this unit does very well what it is intended for... create O3 (not O2). That being said and as stated right on the equipment itself, do not use in an occupied room.... ozone, or otherwise O3 is harmful to the lungs and has many known and unknown reactions with many various chemicals in carpets, walls, fixtures, etc., that then release various other contaminates in the air. Every state, every major city monitors ozone, or O3 in daily air quality for a reason. But, if you need to remove odors, such as from a fire, from smoke, from mold, etc., this unit will do everything it was intended for.... which does not include the manufacturing of O2 for you to breathe. When finished, ventilate the room well before occupying.Read More

I was looking for a solution, and ran across this machine. This little thing does wonders, the ozone totally kills whatever mold or mildew there is and leaves a great fresh smell. Lightweight, compact, it's pretty amazing how effecitve this little thing is. Thanks for the great price too. I would absolutely recommend this for anyone , pet smells, musty smells, anything. See the thing is that it gets to the root of the problem and handles it. Love it.Read More

I have read that possibly the ozone plate could be taken out if not required for smoke odors. Is it possible to remove New Comfort's plate?
Hello, curiousnow. This model only produces ozone, so if you took out that plate, all this purifier would do is blow out normal air. I suggest you look at item number 14263363. That purifier uses a HEPA filter, a carbon filter, a UV filter, and an ionic filter. You can also install ozone plates in it and control the ozone with a separate button or remove the ozone plates. I hope this was helpful to you. Thank you for shopping with us!
I am VERY interested in purchasing this device. However, I need to know more info on cleaning/replacing filtration system. 1. What is the replacement cost and the type of filter I will need when that time comes. Thank you!
I think I have answered my OWN question. I am understanding that the only filter is an ozone plate and nothing else? Also, this filter runs approximately 5000 hours. If there is another filter I am unaware of, please let me know. Otherwise, I'm satisfied with my research. Thanks!
Hello bzgirl726, I am happy you were able to find your answer. We are not aware of an additional filter. If you have purchased the product please be sure to leave a review once you receive it. we appreciate your feedback. Thank you for shopping with us.
