I took a chance and ordered this table after viewing it in my cart for a couple months. I'm glad I did. It is very solid, heavy and sturdy, and the actual color in person is a lovely, more natural walnut color. My computer monitor showed it closer to a cherry wood red, even though the listing said a walnut finish which was my hesitation. But when it arrived, it was the more subdued and elegant brown. The style is mid-century modern design at Overstock pricing, and I would recommend this table to anyone (I had been seriously contemplating the $$$$ designer version). Even though it is nearly seven feet long, the narrow oval shape provides a smaller footprint, and it very comfortably seats six. One item of note that wasn't immediately evident from the listing photo, where the four legs attach to the tabletop, the leg protrudes out PAST the actual top, so I would recommend pairing this table with dining chairs that don't have arms, as it will impede your tablecloth lying flat at those four points as chair arms put push the cloth in instead of allowing it to hang. The protruding legs also don't allow for seating for eight, which was also my initial hope. They're simply in the way, and would be uncomfortable for any guest. The table arrived quickly, was packaged securely and in beautiful condition. It was super easy to assemble. I did have some initial trouble with shipping arrangements, but Overstock's customer service was first rate, and they helped me get through the red tape.

This rug is exactly as pictured if the room you are placing it in has natural lighting. It will be darker without natural lighting. I bought several of this style for my dining room, great room, and foyer. All of which have natural lighting. The color is a golden caramel brown. This is a gorgeous rug. Please take note of the description as a Shahi BROWN/Blue not GOLD. That is exactly what it is... caramel brown not a dark brown, at all. These rugs have been in my house for nearly 2 years and are still gorgeous.

This 6-ft. Raphis palm looks very nice, and is better condition than the real Raphis palms sold at a local nursery.. Pricewise, this silk sells for $*** more than the real plant, making for good value. The crown is made up of full size leaves, somewhat detracting from an otherwise natural look. I believe the base should be made longer, but seems to impart sufficient stability when placed into a suitable planter and packed with cedar shavings (I'm using a Ming-style 16-inch planter). I'm sure this silk plant will render years of use, and require minimal care. The only problem occurred when the first palm was shipped in a 6-ft. box ... which is a problem, because the crown was crushed in order to fit in the box. However, the "O" came through with a no-quibble replacement, and ensured that a 7-ft. shipping box was used. Kudos to Tiffany for the excellent service and quick resolution of the shipping problem..
