linen fix
mossmaven  from Northeast Pennsylvania,  Jul 28, 2009
Just spray some warm water from a spray bottle and smooth the linen with your hands.. it's looks as if it came from a dry cleaner when your done. For a blast of freshness add a pinch of fabric softener.

This material is linen, so it is ALWAYS wrinkled. The buttons are weak and spaced too far apart to prevent sagging for the type of the material used. You do get pillow shams and a bedskirt with the duvet cover. That may come across as a plus, but if you have to replace the super wrinkly, saggy, stressed-out looking duvet cover the bedskirt might not go with your new purchase unless you make the effort for it to.

good value for price
emmars  from lake tahoe,  Jul 18, 2009
I've bought a ton of items on Overstock and so far, had tremendous luck w/ the value and quality. This set, however is probably the least exciting I've gotten in regards to appearance. I read the previous reviews about the wrinkles, but you can't change the dynamics of linen. It wrinkles. The wrinkles don't bother me, but just the general overall appearance is not quite what I was expecting. I guess I've had such great luck in the past, I may have had my expectations too high. Overall, yes, good value for the money and yes, I would recommend it. Just don't be expecting to fall in love with it.

Just what I wanted
ssgw  from Tacoma, WA,  Jun 29, 2009
I wanted something fresh and light to brighten up my room and this comforter set has done that perfectly! As the other reviewers have said, it does get wrinkly, but I don't mind and if I ever need my room to look perfect I think ironing it shouldn't be an issue. It's linen, so I didn't expect it to have a freshly ironed look anyway. Love it! And for the price, it can't be beat.

I bought this duvet cover because of the picture. when I got it home, I noticed that the color was not that of the picture and the bedskirt did not have the stripe. the color was more like in the yellow pallet. in the picture the cream and the kakhi make a nice contrast. Its not what I was hoping for. I am very dissapointed in this purchase.

wicked awesome!
firesidegiraffe  from Newport, RI,  Jun 18, 2009
I bought this duvet to use in my nautical themed bedroom and paired it with bamboo fiber sheets and some colorful throw pillows. It's gorgeous! The only negatives I have to say are the buttons are very poor quality and make the duvet look cheap. I plan on replacing them with some cool wood, bone, or shell buttons to give the bed a more beachy feel. Also, the bed skirt is not made to last. Overall though, this set looks and feels great on the bed!

Classic!
voodoo879  from NE Georgia,  Jun 16, 2009
I love the feel and the look of this lovely linen. Some have said it wrinkles but that is the nature of linen and, I think, the beauty of it. The color is quite neutral so throw pillows of many other colors would blend in. I have not had any trouble with the buttons coming off, but I do check them regularly.I'm using this duvet cover over a summer weight down blanket and it is perfect for summer nights in our area (the mountains). I highly recommend this set........and the price is great!

Great deal!
allyssainseattle  from Seattle, WA,  May 28, 2009
If you like the breezy feeling of having linen in your room then this is a great package. I ironed the bedskirt, and the wrinkles came right out and it looks very nice down there. I did not attempt to iron the duvet cover, because linen gets re-wrinkled as soon as you use it so I saw no point. I am satisfied.

This is a great set! Simple, clean, and fresh looking. Coordinates well with anything. I was a little worried by some of the reviews on here saying it had a pink cast to it, but that is not the case at all! It is a NATURAL white..... not stark white, so in reality lets call it more off-white or cream. The fabric is very light, but I would not call it cheap. I do wish it had ties in the inside corners to hold the duvet in place, but that is very simple to add yourself. Overall a great buy for a quick change!

I love this duvet and the way it looks. While the fabric seems light and airy, we found it to be quite warm if we used a down comforter inside it. We used a thin blanket inside and it have been very comfortable. The material doesn't wrinkle up easy and the bed is easy to make. It's simple design allows for a clean and quiet look. The material is not slippery which makes the blanket inside the duvet hold in place. I haven't washed it yet, so I can't comment on whether ironing will be needed before using it again.

linen duvet cover
colesy  from smithtown, ny,  Apr 15, 2009
I agree with all the others about the wrinkling - it's out of control. The buttons have all fallen off and I've had to resew every single one of them back on. I'm very disappointed with this product.

I know linen has a tendancy to wrinkle but you can't even iron them out. Sorry I purchased this item.

Linen Duvet Set
1auntkedge  from Long Beach, Calif.,  Mar 30, 2009
I am really pleased with this set and the quality. I washed the set (Not the dust ruffle) prior to using it (used my steamer to iron it while it was on the bed, works a lot better than ironing) so as to soften it. I have another linen duvet set and it has become softer and less wrinkled with repeated washings and steaming. Love the look of it and think it is a super deal.

i know pictures always look better than the actual - i ignored the reviews about the wrinkling. it's pretty bad. i did iron it, however, after sleeping in it over night, the next morning it was all wrinkled again. duh - it's linen. i should've known better. BUT, for the price...i guess i can't really complain....you get the duvet, bed skirt & 2 shams....not horrible, but just didn't quite meet my expectations. Oh, and the buttons on the cover look like they will fall off after a few washes.

This duvet cover looked a lot better on the website! It constantly shifts around to the point where you can't cover yourself anymore. One night my boyfriend even got his hand stuck where the buttons are and ripped one off! Definitely not Overstock's best quality items!

This Duvet is linen so it always looks wrinkled. Even after ironing, the next morning it is wrinkled. The quality is good though and it is quite soft.

I love this set. It is clean and fresh... the only bad thing is that it wrinkles easily, but that's the drawback of linen. Still, a lovely duvet set for my guest room.
