A great value for this size shade. It's very light, so it allows a fair amount of light through even when closed. It performs similarly to a sheer window shade in that if you are close to it, you can even see through it somewhat. It works well for an area that you want to allow filtered light to enter.

Nice shade with easy to follow instructions. Only negative is you can see through it easily. Needs a liner for privacy.

These blinds were very easy to install...I didn't even measure like the instructions suggested and they went up perfectly and look great. I like the fact that in the daytime I can see through them without raising them, and yet you cannot see in from the outside. I had been looking for blinds like this at a local "home improvement" store, but they did not carry this size, so to purchase them there I would have had to buy a brand that was 3 times more expensive, but capable of being cut down in the store. Great value on this shade. I needed one that was wide (70") but not long (length of window is only 48") and didn't want to spend a lot on a custom shade. It took some patience and care, but I was able to shorten this by cutting off 6" below window sill, removing some of the bamboo and tying it off. It doesn't provide total privacy, but its enough and I love the fact that it doesn't make the room dark when closed or when pulled up.

I had been searching for a shade for our dining area. For the price, I thought I would give this a try. It came in three days (even including the Thanksgiving holiday!). Easy to install and it fits my window perfectly. Looks fantastic. This shade will not keep out light, but is good for semi-privacy, exactly what I wanted. Great product, fantastic shipping. Highly recommended.

After searching high and low for blinds to cover my unusually large and odd shaped windows, I finally found them here! Fantastic price, great quality, quick shipment... what more could I want?
