Definitely recommend if you want an inexpensive, attractive solution for your window. Not entirely private - can see through somewhat at night - but on the other hand, you get plenty of light through it by day. Can't really comment on durability since we generally keep that shade closed.

• How did the color on site compare with the actual product? pretty close - a natural with a bit of yellow tone.
• Please tell us about the quality of the product. Definitely not top of the line, but good enough. We put ours in a bathroom window next to the tub, so it is usually left closed and doesn't get much up and down use. I'm not sure who it would hold up if it got a lot of opening and closing.

Once unwrapped I found missing and broken bamboo sticks on the right side, a manufacturing issue.The blind had unattractive scruff marks and in one place was not attached firmly to the bar. I have other blinds from Overstocked.com, different brand and excellent quality.The Natural Bamboo Roman Shade was disappointing in comparison.
