Waited a year for review to see how these held up. Standard assembly, but some of the hardware did not fit properly. Stained the wood last year, but has since faded and the wood split. We have extreme weather here, so maybe that's it. I needed two more, but decided to get a manufactured wood set that would hold up better. Found a pair at the local wholesale club for less than these!

Both of the two chairs I ordered had wood broken due to the short screws used in construction. I plan on salvaging them with some wood glue and longer screws. Also, you need to paint or stain it, because the wood is plain and unfinished.

I bought this to place in a corner in my Hamptons-style sitting room. I received the package, and I assembled the product. The instructions were just a bit confusing in that the diagrams are not illustrated the best. However, assembly is pretty easy, and I'd say it took me 20 minutes at most. The chair is lightweight, but sturdy. And, the cedar smells great! I sat in the chair without a cushion, and it was comfy. But, when I placed in a cushion made for the chair, it became super comfortable! The large arm rests are great! Plenty of room to comfortably rest your arms or set cell phones/Blackberry, etc. I would not recommend these being an outdoor chair unless under a porch; however, several of these on a covered porch would allow for a very comfortable setting, especially if sitting around a chimenea or firepit. I highly recommend this!

I had been shopping around for a pair of adirondak chairs for several months and found that they were quite expensive. These chairs are as good, if not better, quality than the ones I had seen and the price can't be beat. Very easy to put together and I love them.

They were easy to put together, one chair had extra screws but the other had just enough. Not sure they are cedar, wood looks more like a pine but I stained them and they are great.

The chairs are nice. I did order white and got natural. I decided I could paint them easier than sending back, and waiting on a new pair. The cedar smells great but there were cracks in the wood in certain places-mostly at the joints. For the price, they are ok. Not really sure I would recommend these to a friend if you planned to use them daily. We are using them mostly as a decorative set in our new courtyard-in front of our home. We spend most of our time in the backyard much more than the front. So they work fine for our purposes.

I am amazed that I was able to get cedar adirondak chairs at this price. The wood alone would have cost close to the price overstock is asking. The chairs assembled easily, and they are extremely comfortable. In all my overstock purchases, this is the best one so far!

These chairs are ok but I wouldn't count on them lasting for more than a couple of years. They look ok but are not of great construction.
