Do not buy this mattress. I weighed all the reviews and decided to buy it. It is very fluffy to look at but as soon as you lay down it flattens down to nothing. I can feel every slat through the mattress and I added a down mattress pad and two down comforters on top. Not worth the deal.

I was disappointed in the quality of the mattress. After a week the mattress went pretty flat.

Nice thick mattress. It fit right into our futon frame with not problem. My son sleeps on it every night and loves it.

Not a very firm mattress. If you are looking for a REAL solid futon mattress this isn't it. Good for light wear.

I shipped this futon mattress to my son in college after finding out that he was sleeping on his futon, instead of the shoddy college (XL twin mattress) provided. He reports that it is extremely comfortable and well made. It shipped from Overstock for just $1.

This product was every bit the quality I have come to expect from overstock.com. It arrived in record time, well-packaged for shipping, and good quality. I immediately unpacked and placed on my platform bed and slept on it that night. It was comfortable.

I think that the mattress is a pretty good value for the money. It is thick enough that it makes a comfortable couch mattress, but I think as a bed mattress I would like a little more comfort. I highly recommend this mattress if you are going to use it mostly as a couch for room decor but maybe not so much if you plan to use it often as a bed.

I read the reviews before purchasing this futon and they all were positive-so I must say I was disappointed when it arrived. It did not measure 8 inches thick as advertised. It is generally comfortable but not what I expected. The yarn that holds the batting in place does not appear to be sturdy enough to hold up for long.I have owned several futons from local retailers so I do know what a good market value is. Probably would not reccommend it.

This is used on a couch and an occasional guest bed. It is sufficiently thick to be comfortable to sleep on. Eventually, something will need to be added under it for sitting so that the pressure on the slats doesn't flatten the mattress too unevenly.

We wanted a futon mattress that did not look cheap for our basement sitting room/guest room. This one is perfect and has held up beautifully!

Well the mattress started out as an 8" mattress. After almost a month, I think the mattress has compressed to 6". This mattress was not anywhere as good as the original mattress that came with my futon. If you originally started out with a good quality mattress, I would suggest paying a little more and get a thicker mattress (10") with a center foam support. This mattress is about what one should expect for the price.

After reading reviews I decided to buy this mattress for a futon I had previously purchased which came with a cheaper made mattress The thickness is so much better than I had anticipated and of course it came , as usual without a hitch. It shipped in less than a week, and it is very comfortable to sleep or sit on. I use it in a sunroom/tv room, between me and my husband we run to see who gets to it first. The color is a light kaki, and has specks in it which makes it appear casual. You can use it covered or just the way it is, looks good. If you're looking for a quality mattress, look no further, good deal on this Hats of once again, overstock.com I'm one satisfied customer!!!

The shipping was fast, not to mention cheap with the 2.95 to ship a futon. Amazing. The futon its self is so plush great for sleeping on. My dogs appreciate its comfort as well, I cant keep them off...

This was purchased for my teenage son who put it together himself. Looks great, easily put up and down. Perfect for a boy who has lots of friends.

After two weeks, the cushion seems going down already. Overall, good value for the price.

We purchased the 8-inch futon mattress to replace one that we had for some time. What a difference this mattress made! We had holiday company stay with us and the true test was their sleeping on it. Success - they slept soundly and commented on the comfort; they were surprised that a futon mattress could be so comfortable. We liked the natural cover of the mattress because it immediately complemented the room decor and colors.
