Nice but you should know
Looks great, easy to assemble, but you should know there seems to be no extremely solid filling or center beam, so the center of the unit will bow in a little if you put a lot of weight on it. I am a big guy and I can sit on the center of the unit and it just bows in 6-8 inches but I have the sense that it might stretch out the leather if I did that all the time, and if a teenager, drunk, or careless person decided to jump onto the ottoman, stand on it with a lot of weight, or plop themselves down with a bit more force, it could get damaged. It is well made, looks great, and works fine to sit on occasionally even for a 250lb adult, but I would just warn that although it looks as solid as a couch, the lack of a center beam probably makes the center of the ottoman have weight bearing ability more similar to a patio/folding chair, so if you have a lot of people around who will try to jump, stand, or plop down onto anything that looks more solid than a patio chair, you may want to warn them or buy something else.

Narcy full leather black cocktail ottoman
I was pleasantly surprised. The quality of the ottoman exceeded my expectations. The leather is so soft and the color is even. The lines are clean and contemporary. It looks beautiful as a coffee table surrounded by a sofa, loveseat and two chairs looking onto a big screen tv. Everyone can put their feet on a soft surface. No one gets hurt bumping into a hard surface. I shopped around and this is truly and by far the nicest quality in the price range I wanted to spend. I love it and would recommend it to anyone .

Great Item at Great Price
I was hesitant about getting an ottoman sight unseen. Then I went around to several furniture stores in the greater DC area to find out that would be the case no matter what (even if ordering from the store). I had recently purchased a black leather sectional and needed and ottoman (large size) to match. I read the reviews and most were favorable. One guy commented that his was not black but mocha. Mine arrived quickly (3days) with an easy assembly kit and was black. It matches my sectional perfectly. I have to say that I am very pleased. The price cannot be beat and it looks nicer than the one my sister paid 3 times as much for. Great experience with overstock. The reviews were right on. If you are looking for a black leather cocktail ottoman to fit modern decor- but this item.

Black Leather Cocktail Ottoman
The week prior to ordering this leather cocktail ottoman, I went to many furniture stores in our area trying to find something like this....I found similar ottomans but the leather wasn't the quality I wanted, and the style wasn't as nice as this one is.....I decided to order this Nancy Black Leather cocktail Ottoman and it arrived so quick....and the quality was 5 stars....and I put it together in a few minutes with the wrench that was supplied with the order. I have leather furniture throughout the living room and family room in this area of our home and it fits in perfectly. Would I recommend this to a friend? Yes, I would. Will I look to Overstock for the next accent piece I need for our home, yes I will. Thank you Overstock.

Black sleek Coctail!
it is by far the best price and still great looking, large square ottoman. I have been looking for awhile now, and seemed to find everything priced in the $1,000's, so I am very pleased to say this piece of luxury cost less than half the price of its comparisons!! Adding buttons also is a great plus, super classy.

firm yet comfy
Firm enough for a dinner plate, but soft enough to put your feet up on. I rested a pop can on it without fear it would tip, but not sure about a wine glass. Overall, we are very happy!

Looks great 1 1/2 years after purchased
I purchased this ottoman as a coffee table in October 2009 & still looks almost new. I would give it 5 stars except for two things --- the legs were not 100% perfect when delivered and only the outer edges are well braced. It is not made for sitting or heavy objects. It is large and the leather is nice. If you take care of your furniture, it is a good purchase for the price.

Exceeded expectations
I was thrilled with the service from Overstock as well as the value of my purchase. I was amazed with how quickly I received the Ottoman. The Ottoman exceeded my expectations! I have been looking for an Ottoman for a couple of years to use with my black leather sectional. This one is the perfect size and the quality is great. I have nothing bad to say about the experience. I would definatley recommend both Overstock and this Ottoman to a friend.

Sturdy, beautiful and multi-purpose
I have a relatively small living room and I wanted to get either a coffee table or an ottoman, because I only have space for one of the other, not both. I decided on the ottoman and I am happy I did. This piece is really well-made, great looking and very functional. I use large trays if I want to eat on it or use it as a coffee table, and the rest of the time, it is a great footrest or extra seat.
