I've had mine for a year now. I would buy it again and I would recommend it to friends. I love the style, it's semi gloss black, not an espresso finish, solid wood, and easy to assemble. My "cons" are, 1. the sealant or top coat, chips off of the base boards along the side of the mattress, from getting in and out of bed. You can only notice it if you look closely, because it's clear. Easy enough to fix. 2. There are only 4 wood slats to support the mattress. You really need more. 3. There are holes in the slats where you're supposed to screw them to the support boards along the side boards, but no starter holes in those support boards. I don't have a drill so I couldn't screw/secure the slats. Hence, they move. And it would be nice to know the best places to place the slats for support. I first placed them in equal distance from each other and the head and foot of the bed, but that was wrong. Especially since the slats move. I know have one slat near the head of the bed and one near foot with the 2 center slats in equal distance. 4. There isn't enough of the super glue they give you to assemble the bed. I guess these things are why Overstock has these beds.
