Shipping issue: These items came in individual plastic package, without any shipping box or not even bubble wrap, and FedEx left them in my porch/concrete, so the plastic container was broken (edges were cracked open, I almost cut my finger with the sharp edge). I contacted Overstock customer service, they are excellent as usual, and they will refund and notify carrier and warehouse to improve their packing. Product quality: Well, you get what you paid for. Staples are used to attach the fabric to "hardware" that is partially made of cardboard. I liked the Cotton-blend fabric, soft, and light see through, just as I expected.
I bought it for living room and laundry room. Well, it is perfect for laundry room. It has pull string in the middle, just like the plastic roll screen you get at the college dorm and also you can see the metal parts facing inside. It is very inexpensive, so you get what you paid for. After I hunged it up in the laundry room, I decided to return 8 others which I was originally trying to put up in the living room. Our living room was carefully decorated and I could not ruin the room decor with this. But for just covering up the window cheaply, this product is a better option than cheap plastic roller shade in dorm.
These are very versatile and would fit most decors. They are light and airy, yet provide ample shade when in use. My husband had them put up in no time - I ordered three for a panel of living room windows in an old country house. Very satisfied.
