The description states the drapes have green and plaid-embroidered accents but I do not see this in the picture. Also, it states the color as: White/green/red/purple but I do not see any red. Are these the same drapes as the description?

I'm so disappointed, the description was for a white background. I thought the white would go well with the window sills, baseboards and other white accents. The background is not white, it is a PERFECT match for my yellow walls, and I didn't want them to blend in. I got an email that there weren't 4 sets, only 3. I ordered a set off ebay for twice as much. Now I'm sent the 4 and they are not white. I usually have a wonderful shopping experience with Overstock; in fact, I have always been very very happy. But this time I am disappointed. Didn't anyone LOOK at this product. Not white. Going Back.Read More
This is one of the best purchases I have made on Overstock, who never disappoints. The fabric is really beautiful and exactly what I was looking for after searchg for months for a color to match my green walls and green rug. The purple, rose, and green colors on a creamy background make a wonderful addition to my room. Just what I was looking for. The drapes are at least 2 inches longer than most. Very happy and would highly recommend.Read More

How to Measure for Curtains
Curtains add privacy and style to a room, but before you buy a set, you'll need to know which size is right. You'll find that curtains usually come in lengths of 63 inches, 84 inches, 95 inches, 108 inches, and 120 inches. The length you choose will depend on the look that you want as well as the placement of your curtain rod.
How to Adjust Tension Rods
Curtains are a great way to accent the decor in every room in the house. Tension rods, also called spring rods, are curtain hardware which allow you to hang window curtains, wall curtains or shower curtains without installing curtain rod hardware on the walls. If an existing tension rod slips or if you want to change the curtain panels or add curtain rings, you may need to remove and adjust the rod before putting it back in place. Tension rods are positioned between two facing surfaces, such as the interior frame of a window or the opposing sides of a shower cubicle.
How to Hang a Valance and Curtains
Hanging a valance and curtains over your window will add dimension, texture and style to any room. Window curtains with a valance give your window treatments a finished, designer look. If you want to block out light, a valance and full-length blackout panel curtain is your best choice. If you are more interested in decoration and only need to block minimal light, then a valance over sheer curtains is a good choice. It's important to measure the window and decide what type of curtains you want before you buy the curtain hardware. A cafe rod will be sufficient to support a sheer curtain, but you will need a stronger curtain rod to support heavier fabrics such as blackout panels. Also, the larger the window, the sturdier the curtain rod will need to be.
How to Install Blackout Curtains
Blackout curtains can keep a room cool and dark even when it's bright and sunny outside. A completely dark room is a wonderful thing if you have a job that requires you to work all night or even if you just want a dark room for watching a movie when it's light outside. In addition, blackout window treatments help you conserve energy by keeping heat in and cold out or vice versa. You have two choices when it comes to installing blackout curtains: You can buy curtains that come with blackout liners already sewn in, or you can add panels of blackout fabric to the curtains you already own.
