My problem with this bin is that there are L brackets that hold the garbage bag on a metal rectangle at the top of the bin. To use garbage bags really is difficult because the brackets rip open the plastic garbage bags. It is not an easy design to clean out the inside of the bin if something spills. It might work better as a hamper- but you would probably still have the bracket problem. On the plus side- it cuts down on smells in the kitchen because of the door shutting and the dog cannot get into the garbage now.

This is the PERFECT laundry hamper. It sits in the bedroom looking like a piece of furniture, with my jewelry box atop. I love that no one knows it's a hamper. It's easy to unload and load and holds a very large quantity of clothing. It opens and closes perfectly every time. I highly reccommend this, especially if you have other white furniture in the room.

This is a great replacement to the traditional trash can and it keeps pets out of the garbage.

This is a perfect addition to my laundry room which doubles as a third half bath. It doesn't take up too much room and it looks nice too. Holds about two loads of laundry which is perfect for us. I love this hamper!

Got this for an extra surface in my laundry room and for our recycling. It fit in the space perfectly, and now, months later, still looks and works great. Very pleased with it. I have lined the cloth with a plastic trash bag, since we use it for recycling, and often things are damp after rinsing. I can set laundry baskets on top (thankfully no more bending all the time and stubbing toes on baskets). It's just the width of the water heater so fits right in front of it. Pulls out easily.

I use this as a kitchen garbage. Looks great and updated in the kitchen. It is hard to get the garbage bags back out so DON"T over fill it! The style is worth the extra work. I had a very hard time finding the nut for one screw. It finally shook out of the liner. It comes assembled!

I really like this bin. We use it as a trash bin in our kitchen where it fits perfectly in the corner. I love how sturdy it is and the top is a very pretty deep brown which looks great with my cherry cabinets and table. Its a bit on the small side and it becomes very hard to get the trash bag out when overstuffed due to the inside canvas liner bag. Overall its a great piece at a decent price.

The good things: arrives assembled, the colors are as pictured, the drawer slides in and out without any issues, and the fold-out compartment opens and closes just fine, too. Looks sturdy and functional. The bad things: the back of it looks pretty ugly. This one has to be facing the wall, can't turn it sideways without exposing unfinished panels. Overall 4/5

We bought this to hold garbage in our kitchen. It's designed for laundry, not waste. It comes with a fabric bag that is held on to a wire frame. In order to use it in our kitchen, we had to buy a plastic (air-tight) garbage can to hide inside.

This looks good, and does come assembled! However I was hoping to use it for garbage, however the garbage swells at the bottom and it is very hard to get the garbage out of the slot (particularly without tearing the garbage bag). I will probably switch to using it for a hamper.

I really love this trash can. It does not look like a trash can which is great. Pro - does not look like a trash can, storage drawer to place other items and top offers a shelf which is great! The only con is taking the bags out the inside hardware seems to hook the bag. Otherwise I would recommend.

I ordered this bin to replace my third hamper that stands by my washer. Since my cats jump on top of the hamper to get to the window, it needed to be sturdy. This bin is not only sturdy but is also attractive. It checks off all the needs and looks good at the same time. I would definitely purchase this bin again.

My husband & I bought two of these cabinets last year because our kitchen always looked messy with 2 trash cans at the end of the counters. We are thrilled. These are very solidly made, very attractive, and they hide our trash! We have no problem fitting a plastic liner inside the canvas bag. And if the trash does leak a little, the bag can go in the laundry! Here is a trick - you can easily unscrew the bolt/hinge to the cabinet door so it releases all the way to get large bags out. We struggled a little until we figured out this trick. No tools required, the bolt comes off with your fingers. We are very happy, and this is a good price for the quality.

I'm very happy with this product, I bought one at first for my bathroom which came wtih fast delivery, and I loved it so much I bought 2 more for my other bathrooms in the house. The quality is superb and it keeps my bathroom looking clean since the dirty clother are hidden in this sturdy, and nice looking laundry bin.

This item should not be considered for waste. There is no internal structure to support a trash bag, the included cloth liner is not strong enough and it will get messy if you trash bag leaks, so your trash bag has a tendency to bet too big at the bottom making it very difficult to remove. Although it was very well packed, and came assembled, it is flimsy particle board covered with a veneer. It does look descent from a distance, but a comparable item from Ikea would be a fraction of the price.
