This spinner is adequate if you are making salad for one person. The basket is small. However, it dries the vegetables fairly well with a couple of spins. It is very lightweight and does not grip the counter well. You need to hold it. Its biggest plus is that the spinner top air dries out. The last spinner I had had too many places for water to get trapped and eventually mold grew. I doubt that this spinner will have the same problem. If you plan to make a large salad, be prepared to have to load/unload the basket several times for the amount of vegetables needed.

It's a nice plastic device, easy enough to clean. Don't overload it or the greens won't shed the water. I do a few spins, then rearrange the lettuce and spin again. I'm harvesting lettuce for sale every 2-3 days and with this spinner, I can offer clean, dry lettuce to my clients.

This is an OK salad spinner. As other reviewers remark, it is not very large, but neither is it small, and it works just fine for two people. The quality is fine for the price, and the product was pretty much what we expected. Overall, we are satisfied with the purchase, and expect to use the spinner for a long time.

The salad spinner is a poorly constructed/designed device. The handle on the top actually broke off as I was attempting to spin my salad, rendering it useless. And as one tries to spin anything in the spinner, it wobbles so much that the spinner comes apart unless you lean on it with considerable force. I wouldn't purchase this ever again, nor would I recommend it to anyone else. If in the market for a salad spinner, look for one that is used by pushing down like a pump vs. actually spinning in a circular motion. If I could get my money back, I would; don't make the same mistake as me.

This product does the job of the more expensive spinners but for half the price, I use it all of the time now for my lettuce and other veggies. It gets the water out and it doesn't damage the veggies.

The spinner handle literally broke with the first rotation. Spend the extra $10 and get a good salad spinner. You'll end up having to buy another one anyway when this one breaks.

I had been wanting a salad spinner for a long time, and I was very glad to have opted for this one. It's a good size -- sure, some people may need a larger one, but I think this has plenty of room for making an average amount of salad for two people. If you have to make more, just divide the amounts and spin them separately. The lid fits snugly, the rubber knob is easy to grip securely, and the inside basket spins like a beauty. It's such a simply constructed item, but it provides effective drying for greens, and can double as a mixing bowl. The no-skid ring on the bottom makes operating the spinner all that much easier. I highly recommend this item!

The salad spinner works very well and the price is right. It's easy to use and wash veges. My only criticism is it's not quite wide enough to wash large lettuce leafs like romaine but other than that I am pleased with it.

I really like the salad spinner. We have a great vegetable garden and the spinner comes in so handy washing and spinning the lettuce,cabbage.etc dry. My daughter in law liked mine so much I ordered one for her. The price was right and we got it so fast.

the top does not fit the bottom of this spinner. The only way to use it is to position the top and then try to hold it on; also, I've used tape to keep it closed while I spin. Not good.

I would not recommend this product. It spins well and takes out the water but due to the fact the lid does not close it cannot be used for storage as stated in the description.

I don't like it. The lid doesn't close tie, and when you spin, it won't spin good. I like the one at better, but I have to keep it, don't want to return since I have to pay for some of amount to restock it. So I have to keep it,

I love a good salad spinner...the rubber bottom is a deck ate value add as you avoid that business of chasing your spinner across the counter top lol. Enjoy. Peace

I used it for a few days and the handle came off. I contacted chat room and got a phone number of warranty and it was for the extended warranty, which I did not buy. They could not find a phone number for Cook Pro as the 3 year warranty is from them. I must go on their web site. I do not wish to waste my time. Unfortunately I purchased 3 of these, 1 for me and 2 for gifts, which I already gave out. What kind of company is Cook Pro that doesn't have a phone number? Your people are great, but I can't say the same for this company. Dorothy R

really disappointed in this salad spinner - the top keeps popping off when in use. v. frustrating. don't buy it.

I have an older spinner and bought 2 of these at Overstock for my daughters - I was tempted to keep one, but mother love won out.

A little pricey for two pieces of plastic, but it does a good job so I shouldn't complain.

Don't even waste your money! It broke the first time I used it.
