This table has a classic, contemporary design with a great black finish and is the PERFECT size for a small living/dining space. But beware: assembly is long and tedious and TWO of the four legs of my table cracked when I tightened the bolts using very little pressure. This table is not made of hardwood, so small nicks (or large dents, as mine had) are VERY obvious and difficult or impossible to repair. I'm keeping the table, but only because I don't want to get stuck with the return shipping fees.

The table & chairs look even better in person. A bit cumbersome to put together but definitely worth it. I couldn't be happier

We bought the table to go with some black leather chairs we purchased elsewhere. I wasn't sure if the table would be black but it was and we absolutely love it. It is very heavy with a beautiful woodgrain top. It was easy to attach the legs, although the hardware was omitted from the original delivery so we had to wait a few days to get the hardware. This table is even more beautiful than anything I've seen for twice the money in the stores. If you are looking for a 48 inch round black table, you won't be disappointed.

I love this table, I looked for months in high-end furniture stores, but couldn't find a round table that would match my wenge buffet. Finally, I decided to try out this one from Overstock-- I figured if it didn't work, at least it wasn't that expensive. But this table ended up being PERFECT! Easy to put together-- took only 45 min. Wood is very heavy, not the cheap stuff, didn't split easily. Color is beautiful espresso dark brown, almost black. Gorgeous wood grain seen up close, but not noticiable from across room to give a sleek comtemporary look.

2nd table like this I bought. Not for kids to use though, great look for $$$, most of the items I by on O are the same quality as many NY shops, half or less in cost

I like this table - the colors are true to description. The wood scratches easily so I bought a round piece of glass to cover the top. The fabric on the seats show every spill etc - but they clean easily as well. You have to clean the whole seat, not just the spill because the water marks show. But for the price, it's a good buy overall. I have been happy with it.

Overall I was very impressed with the experience. The table was delivered in perfect condition in a well packed and protected box. The table was easily assembled and is of first rate quality. It looks great and goes great in the room it was placed and is of better quality than the other tables of higher price in the furniture stores I have shopped in. Together with the quality, price and free delivery (not the usual $100.00 delivery fee charged by local stores) and I am blown away with this purchase.

This table looks great when it is finally together. It would have been very easy to be put together if the top of the leg which connects to the table would not have split when the necessary tightening of the screw was applied. With wood glue, patience, a heavy elastic strap and waiting, all 4 of the legs are now attached. It is the engineering that is faulty, not necessarily the workmanship because the attachment portion of the leg was trimmed too thin for the force needed to be applied at the attachment bolt area . The finish of the top is very good

This is a very simple, heavy, quality piece. There isn't anything stand-out gorgeous about this table. The wood grain is very deep on the top, but the finish looks like it will take a lot, even with the ridges. You can't see color variations in the grain, just the ridges because the finish is an opaque espresso. It's a very modern look.

I was initially hesitant to purchase a table online especially since this table was so much less expensive than all of the others I was considering. I am glad I took the chance! The table arrived well packed and ready to assemble. I am normally not very good at assembling things but I managed to do so pretty easily (and without directions) and if I can do it, anyone can! The table is very heavy, which is nice, and I still cannot believe such a sturdy table came at such an affordable price! The table is a very, very dark brown, which is perfect for me, but be aware that is almost black. There is a small nick on the side of the table but it can easily be fixed with a paint pen. Overall I am very happy with my Mui Mui table and would definitely recommend it!

I had been looking for a table exactly like this for months and not only was it hard to find a dark round table with four legs, I never thought I would find one so inexpensive. This table looks great in my diningroom. However, the design of how the legs connect to the table is poor. Because of a gap behind the leg, if you try to tighten them enough to not wiggle, you put too much stress on the part of the leg that overlaps the table edge. Other reviews have mentioned cracking. I would recommend using some kind of spacer (washers or a wood block) in this gap to prevent that from happening. The table is much sturdier if you do.

I was truly amazed when I received this table! It was easy to assemble (just screwing in the 4 legs with the given tools to the table), and you are done! It took me longer just to take it out of the package! The table was a bit better than the presented photo, and the finish is beautiful if you enjoy very dark wood. I will definitely buy from this maker, Mui Mui, again! Thanks Overstock.com!

excellent look only difficult to assemble ...it took almost 3 hours to do it... for 6 chair but the result was worthy
