I bought this coffemaker based upon the great reviews. I am sorry to write that I could not do the same as the others. I followed all of the instructions carefully...still...the machine poured water all over the counter top. This coffee maker also looks like it has been used. The manuel has water stains which have dried over time. I can't recommend this machine. Maybe I just got the one bad apple in the barrel. I dunno. I paid good money for a coffeemaker that should deliver more than I wound up with. Pooh!

Lately I've tried 3 different Coffeemakers and been totally disgusted. Either they leaked or just made horrible coffee. Then I tried this one and wish I'd gotten it sooner. It's wonderful. Easy to fill and it's easy to see how much water is in it. The filter that's in it works pretty good also. I didn't get the other makers from Overstock, thought I better tell you, so you don't think they sell garbage. Anyway this coffeemaker is awesome. Like the backlite, works great for a night lite in the kitchen. Only thing I don't like is the is the loud beep when the coffee is finished, it can be turned off, thank goodness. I'm tempted to get another one of these in case they don't make them anymore when this ones worn out.

This coffee pot is the best one that I have ever owned and I have owned probably 20 different ones.Some costing over 100 dollars. Yes I would recommend it to anyone that likes a good cup of coffee.It also is one of the best looking if not the best looking coffee maker that I have owned.Thanks for a great product at a great price.

We purchased a 50 yr old home and the prior owner was a little old lady who had her kitchen cabinets lowered which left us with limited room for a coffee maker to fit under the cabinet. This one fits wonderful and easy to clean. Will buy another one when need to.

I had this same pot for 5 years. The auto make button broke. Overstock was the best price and had it to me in no time. I love the pot It has been my favorite......keep in mind I go through about 2 pots a day.

Where to start with the problems with this coffee maker? I'm guilty of falling for its good looks even after reading the other negative reviews. First of all, the filter is not "permanent", it's a disk that you have to remove and rinse every time you make a new pot and it's only good for a month - you will need to order more. The filter basket has be removed completely from the machine each time you make coffee, no convenient swinging door here, and it will be a dripping mess each time, retaining way too much water with or without the filter in place. That basket will also leak each time you remove the pot to pour a cup, dripping onto the hot plate and down the side of the machine. The water reservoir opening is too narrow and it's nearly impossible to fill without water pooling on the top cup pad. This is compounded by a design flaw in the carafe, as it also leaks down the side each time you pour a cup. What a shame, because this is one of the best looking coffee makers I've seen. If you're like me, after about a week of denial you'll realize that you just can't live with this handsome devil!

I purchase Mr. Coffee MRX35 as a gift for a friend. My friend just love this coffee maker, especially the fact that it filter the water.

This coffee maker is quality and makes an excellent cup of coffee. Saw the same coffee maker for 20%more. The cleaning feature is something new and can't wait until I use it.

I really do hate to say it, but you really shouldn't waste your money on this machine. I read several negative reviews prior to purchasing mine...but went ahead and bought it anyway because I really liked the look of this coffeemaker. Since it was a Mr. Coffee I thought it couldn't be all that bad.Well, in some ways it isn't. The coffee was great and I liked alot of the features, however, it did have most of the problems reviewers complained about. It did indeed have an annoying signal to let you know the coffee is ready. It did in fact leak condensation from the corner of the filter basket. It's warmer plate did start to rust. I still liked it and could live with all those little annoyances. That is until I broke the carafe. I then began the search for a replacement. I thought it would be easy to replace since most Mr. Coffee replacement carafes are just a trip the store away...not so here. I looked in quite a few stores and could not find one. I even brought ones home that looked similar but they were too tall by a fraction of an inch. Then I called customer service for Mr. Coffee and was told it was no problem for them to send the correct one. I then happily waited for my replacement to arrive. I was not quite so happy when they sent me one of the same ones I had returned to the store. They tried again and sent the exact same WRONG thing again. (I even tried removing the black handle and lid and replacing them with the original brown handle and lid with no luck.) On my third call to customer service I was told that there are no replacements available for this machine and that there won't be in the future. I have searched high and low for a replacement carafe to no avail. So please do not buy this machine unless you are certain that you will NEVER break the carafe. I'm on here now looking for a replacement.

I have had several coffee makers before this , and wow non would compare. I appreciate every feature, even the alarm to let you know when your coffee is ready . The color is so dark it blends well with my black appliances, and is rather smart looking. I am very pleased.

The base where the carafe sits is so rusty that I cannot clean it anymore.As a result the bottom of the carafe is extremely dirty and I cannot put it down. My machine is just one year old.

The coffeemaker is one of the better ones that I have used. I like the option of 2 or 4 hour auto turn-off.Makes good coffee, a little slow but you have the option of getting a cup of coffee before it is finished. I would recommend this to family and friends. Very well satisfied.

I didn't really know what to expect from this product but am very satisfied so far. I only have it for a week but so far so good. I LOVE coffee and decided it was time to invest in a better quality brewer than the usual $ 20.00 ones. There are optionial features that I haven't used as yet but am very likey to use in the future. I find the coffee basket is very easy to remove and clean. I consider this an upgrade from the usual. All in all I'm glad I bought it.

I purchased this coffe maker in April of this year and really liked the design and features. Like some of the others i did have a problem with coffee dripping on countertop when pouring, but I only considered this a minor inconvenience. This morning the coffee maker just quit. Couldn't get it to start a cycle no matter what I tried. Very disappointed with this machine. Would not recommend to anyone.

Exactly what was looking for! So many coffee makers today shut off after 2 hrs. this stays on so you don't have to rush to get hot coffee. Attractive on the counter too!

Wonderful coffee maker! Great appearance and easy to operate.

This coffee maker looks good on the counter with its square style and I can see everything including the water level easily. Hugs the back of the counter and doesn't stick out. Simple to use yet has all the features I need. I like the pad on top for sitting the carafe on at the breakfast table. What a handy idea! I am very happy with my purchase.
