They seem like they are well made. I have not tried them out on anything hot yet. They sent Black ones even though the picture and the product description said they would be WHITE. I have a modern white kitchen so I wanted them to be white to go with the kitchen. I plan on using indoors. The black ones look like they would go well in a chemistry lab or for a Halloween costume. Overstock said they would send me out a replacement pair in white as in the image. This got 3 stars because it came in black and not white so the product description is incorrect. If there are 2 color choices, they should give a drop-down selection. Also, these are not dish-washable or machine washable. I'm kind of surprised.

Glad to get this pair in Black, should be less Hoagy than the off white.
