So far so good. I've had the peddle type trash can in the past. The peddle broke on the last can within three years. So if this can lasts only 1 1/2 years I've lost nothing. The sensor works great. The timer for keeping the lid open is only a few second before it closes. However I've noticed that if my hand or an object is over the sensor, it remains open. Tall kitchen bags fit snugly in the can. The bag doesn't move around and removes easily. Nice thing is that the bag is completely full when removed. No need for it to sit around to fill up.

This set looks great and works perfectly. I love the convenience. The kitchen unit is the perfect size and seals in odors. The smaller one is an added bonus. It looks nice in my bathroom and works perfectly. What a great deal.

This set works well. It is difficult for me to get "fired up" about a trash can, however this set looks nice and was much cheaper on the "O" than in local stores!

I've had a couple other automatic garbage cans & have always had problems with the battery compartment staying in place. Where the battery compartment is on this garbage, I definitely won't have the same problems. Awesome design!!

have never had a problem with it opening and closing or fitting the bags. have not had to replace batteries as of this date. so nice to be hands free when you are cooking or baking and put your hand over the lid and wah lah opens everytime.

We had the iTouchless Garbage can before. It lasted a while, say 3-4 years. But it went bad (gears broke inside lid) and I replaced it with this one. I like this one better because the bags fit easier and better and don't rip when you pull the bags out of the trash can once they are full. With the old round one, they were always catching around the rim and tearing the bag. One thing I wish is that they would move the power switch to the back side of the unit. Right now it is on the underside of the lid assembly. So to empty you have to stick your hand in the garbage and feel for the switch. And at our house the bag gets packed full before the can is emptied (who house isn't like this?) so you may get a dirty hand turning off the unit to take the lid assembly off. Big deal - NO, just moving the switch would be nicer. All in all great purchase and we love the new one way better then the old one.

This was the 2nd time I've purchased this trash can. Was glad to find it again. Great trash can for the money. My first one lasted about 4 yrs. the sensor finally wore out. Held up great for the use it got! Large trash can had a small dent, but not worth the trouble to exchange. Product was package well & in good condition when delivered, so was damage was done prior to shipping.

I really like this product and am very satisfied. If there is a con about this product, it would be that both trash cans required batteries. Also, the sensors are indeed sensitive so do not place the trash cans in an where you walk by constantly in your home or office. Other than that, I love these products and the over all quality and the ease with which to clean.

It seems strange to describe a trash can as handsome, but it is. Big bin, easy lift off lid, clever ring that holds the bag in place. I feel like you have to get pretty close to the lid to catch the sensor but it's still better than having to touch a gross garbage lid. It stays clean, the trash bag does not show under the lid if placed inside ring properly. I am very happy with the purchase, especially for the price.

I ordered these because I purchased one a litttle smaller about 5 years ago and the sensor stopped working. I am crippled and can't balance to use one with the foot opener. I was so pleased with this one becsause it is the absolute perfect size for the 13 gallon bags. The small bathroom size was a bonus. I just love both of them..

I bought this set so I could have a kitchen trash can as well as a small bathroom sensored trash can and not have to burn a while in my pocket paying for them. This set is worth what you pay for it.The large kitchen trash can is great! Looks great, operates smoothly with minimal noise, and I have not found any issues with not being able to fit an item through the lid opening. I love it! Does open once in awhile while passing by but doesn't bother me. Just don't put it in a high trafficked area but more in a corner. Others wrote that you could see the trash bag from the outside, this is operator error on their part because it has a ring inside under the top that you are suppose to tuck your bags under which assists in hiding the bag from view ;) Now the small trash can I was a little disappointed with because it's not as nice as the larger one. Still does its job, but it would've been great to have it be a mini look alike of the larger one. This one you will have minor trouble hiding the bags and it makes a louder noise even though it's much smaller. But it's good for an out of they way trash can and if you must have it in plain view it doesn't look odd or cheap. Both have an on/off switch which is nice and the battery area is totally hidden from view on each which is great! I'd buy this set again!
