  • Failed after first reading.

    I ordered the Moscap detector because I had heard it was identical to the Dometic model, but cheaper without the Dometic label. When I received this one, I tried it on a new nearly-full 20# RV propane cylinder. It gave a green-light reading on the first probe (as it should have), and red lights on all subsequent tests on three different nearly-full propane cylinders (I did touch the cylinders with my other hand). Thinking the batteries might be low, I removed them per the included instructions and checked them with a digital volt-meter. They were okay. Out-of-the-box this unit was worthless.
