I was nervous when I first put it together and allowed the water to run. There was a VERY loud humming sound that was annoying and a distraction. However once it cycled through for about 5 minutes it became super quiet and all you could hear was a gentle dripping of the water. Simply beautiful! I highly recommend this item.

I have to say I was disappointed in this table top fountain. I could not get it to quit humming or splashing. I had purchased it to use in my office but there was no way I could bring it there with the humming noise which was so distracting. I wanted to return it but it is a non-returnable item. Now it is packed up in my storage never to be used or given away. Very dissapointed.

I would not reccomend this as it can splatter water on the counter, and the craftmanship is not great, probably made in china??

If your expecting a large piece, you will be disappointed. This fountain is tiny and not worth the money in my opinion.

I am happy with this, tho it looks a bit smaller in real life than in the photo and the lights are not so bright and well distributed. Light shines thru a few strips in the top bowl, which get covered by rocks. I love this fountain, but it is not as pretty as the ad photo.

This is a soothing water sound; a small table top fountain with absolutely no motor noise. I am enjoying my purchase.

I was not expecting the size to be as small as it was, and was not expecting most of the parts (except for the actual rocks and stone) to be made of plastic. I have had this fountain for about 6 months and had it on a table top at my entry. It continuously spews water all over the place and I am finally at my wits end with it and am going to try to replace it with something higher quality. I wish it worked...if it did not spew water all over the place, it can look nice from a distance. Dissappointed.

I love the look of the fountain, i had to move the ligt and position it another way for the stone to glow the way i wanted it to, the water sound is very relaxing and cozy.

I love the fountain. I use it in the classroom for a calming influence. I did not find it to be noisy as other reviews suggested. I do like the water sounds and wish that it were a bit louder.

I was hesitant to order this because of a couple negative reviews. This fountain is lovely and quiet

The motor on my fountain is very quiet, if you get close to it and concentrate on hearing it, it makes a small humming sound. The tumbled stones are nice and the only variation from the photo is the slate, and that's just because two pieces of stone are never exactly the same. Fairly easy to assemble. It sounds like a bubbly stream. I'd love for fountain makers to add an on/off switch, either on the wire or fountain itself. This one is a nice tabletop model, but fishing around for the plug and outlet is inconvenient. Almost all tabletop fountains share this problem.

Love this fountain! The slate in the middle really goes with my house and it has a very relaxing sound and nice ambiant lighting.

I wanted so much to like this fountain. Unfortunately after my husband tried everything to fix the noisy pum I had to return it. The pump is so noisy I couldn't hear the babbling water. I am so disappointed .The experience cost me a trip to the post office and $xxx for the return shipping. Lost harmony and failed feng shui attempt.

The Moonshadow Table Fountain Is beautiful but I thought It would be a little bigger. I put It In my bathroom on a shelf next to my big spa tub. Very relaxing when I am using my tub. Looks great In the room....It would be a great accent to any room.........

Nice looking fountain, but had to return because the motor was noisy.

This fountain is great! The only sound is cascading water (no pump sounds). It looks just like the picture shown.

This is easy to assemble, looks good but the motor is much to loud for a meditation or prayer space. Especially for the cost.
