When we did find similar products at furniture stores, the cost was close to $1000. for beds of far less quality. We are ecstatic to have found this and it fits perfectly w/the look we had in mind for our now teenage daughter's room - She loves it, too. P.S., it was also extremely easy to put together.

I have been wanting a new headboard for quite a while and when I saw the Montreau frame, I was immediately sold on it. I am a widow and the headboard I have is so masculine and this one has a feminine look about it with the swirls and curley cues on it. I do not plan on using it unti this fall when I re-do my bedroom, but I did open the box and it appears to be just what I wanted. It will make such a diffrerence in my bedroom. Of course, when I ordered it I got 10 per cent off and free shipping so that made ordering it at that time an easy decision. I am also looking at ordering one, maybe two of the Montreau side tables with two drawers and an open area on top. They look roomy and I think they will go very well with the bedframe.

I bought the bed for a guest bedroom, eventually it will be my eldest daughter's bed when she is old enough for it. My husband put the bed together in maybe twenty minutes. It looks exactly like the picture and is not as lightweight as I thought it'd be. It is a beautiful and impressive piece of furniture. You will not be disappointed with this purchase

The bed is adorable and my daughter loves it. There are two down sides; (1) the headboard feeds into the legs and you can see the seam and (2) the frame is low to the ground and there is very little space under the bed. Other than that, it was very easy to put together; my husband and I put got it up in about 30 minutes.

My bed came two days ago and I couldn't wait to get it out the box. I am not the most handy woman in the world, but I was able to put this bed together myself in about 30 minutes. The instructions were easy to follow. The bed looks exactly like the picture and the color goes well with my room. It is sturdy and a great deal for the price. I love it!!! This is a very beautiful bed! Very affordable and great quality. Material is light but not some kind of cheap and easily breakable kind. It is very easy to assemble! Package comes with every tool you need. The only thing that upset me was the fact that the color is more gray than champagne, but besides that this bed is a great buy.

This bed is very pretty and easy to assemble. It is helpful to have two people assembling it because the sides have to line up. My sister and I put this together in about 40 minutes, and were delighted that it was so sturdy. As others have mentioned, it sits low to the floor, so we set it on bed risers which gave it another 51/2 inches clearance. This resolved the problem of the bed skirt's being too long. My sister is very happy with her new bed. It is open and airy looking and the curves make it charming for a woman's bedroom. I looked for the end tabes referred to by another reviewer but could not find them. Wish they'd come back so we could purchase them. If they are as durable and attractive as the bed, they should be great.

I love this new bed. It has an old world look that has been updated with the color of the frame. This will go with any color of furniture and or brdding as it is a nuetral color. Could be used for a boy or girl. The scroll work is beautiful..... not over done

I bought this to replace an old wooden sleigh bed that was falling apart, since it was such a great price. The bed is very high quality and looks just like the picture, except for the color. I saw from reading other reviews that it was somewhat darker, but I wasn't prepared for quite how dark it actually is. This bed is listed as 'champagne' but it is not. It is a dark taupe, bordering on sienna. I plan to keep the bed because I can't imagine finding a better deal for the money, but I am somewhat disappointed. I also don't care for how much of a gap there is between the headboard and my mattress; make sure you have some big, full pillows to prop up to 'fill the gap.'

Love this bed. Bought it for our teenage who loves it. Bed is sturdy and very quiet, fashionable as well. Very nice design. I do agree with other reviewers that the bed sits a bit low which makes it difficult to use area under the bed for any storage. Clearance from floor to bottom rail / box spring is just 5 inches. Do wish there was more clearance. Other than that, the bed is FAB!

THE FRAME LOOKS BEAUTIFUL, BUT ETH SUPPORTS FOR THE BEDFRAME UNDER THE BOX SPRING ARE NOT THE STRONGEST. THEY SCREW ON AND IF THE BED IS SHIFTED, THEY LOOSEN AND MAY EVEN BEND.

We love the bed! It's sturdy,but light weight. It's absolutely perfect for a female college student who moves a lot because it is so light weight.
