I am an Overstock junkie and the first one to admit it. I give Overstock a lot of business, so it disappoints me to have to leave a negative review on the item most recently purchased from them. These nightstands are not even worth the money they charge which I thought was rather reasonable. The corners are all damaged just from shipping. The cartons weigh a ton and the cardboard does not support the weight of the package. They are not worth the shipping costs to send them back. Once constructed they look ok, but not intended for heavy use. I can tell these nightstands and the matching 6 drawer dressers will be in the trash soon.

Well, I have now purchased three of these and the first couple are starting to show their age -- the manufacturer covered the particleboard with a paper-based material that is NOT waterproof and does not adhere well to the drawer fronts -- so after a little use, the paper starts to come up on the inside of the drawer fronts. For the money, they are good looking and can really spruce up a room -- as long as it is a guest room and doesn't get much use. If they could have painted the white covering, it would have added value and use!

This is a really nice nightstand. it took about 2hrs for me and a friend to put together. The back is made of cardboard instead of wood, but thats ok since its up against a wall. Otherwise it is a really nice piece. The color is amazing..its not a deep traditional cherrya reddish brownish color and goes really well with any color wall.

difficult assembly! some parts not alligned properly contributing to poor assembly.

I am sorry I bought this night stand. missing parts, miss alignment, draws won;t close unless you force them. Would send back if not for cost.a frequent shopper

Lots of screws so use an electric screwdriver! Takes awhile to build and the drawer slide rails are tricky but it is solid and better quality than the swedish warehouse ones.

Although the night stands had to be put together...they are very sturdy and great pieces of furniture for a guest bedroom..

A solid and basic particular board piece of furniture.

This was ok. We got this for a spare bedroom. It looks cheap. If it was for a bedroom that is used or seen more often I would have sent this back. Spend a little extra and get the one that cost more. I would not buy another one of these. Good note the instructions for assembly were great and we put it together in the amount of time specified. Not that difficult.

These are a nice product for the price especially. The color or stain seems to be a little thin but is Okay. Once built it was very nice. Be sure to use all parts so the bottoms don't slide out. All in all .... very good product!

This dresser came quickly and was easy to assemble. I love it.

Assembled without an electric screwdriver and was very difficult. Screws wouldn't go in all the way so the drawers only close if you lift it then force it in. Looks nice when assembled though.

Pleasantly surprised by the quick shipping! This was for my mother-in-law who was downsizing and it fits perfectly. My husband (who assembled it) said it went together easily, but thought the drawers were a bit cheap. But, considering the value, thought we got our money's worth, and my mother-in-law loves it! Exactly as pictured.

Looks nice, assembled easily, but the drawers are hard to close. Have to slam them shut.

I was very happy with the make of the wood and the price was sooo reasonable. It is not that fake looking wood the drawers are large inside and the look is beautiful.

What a relief to assemble something where the instructions were well-written enough that they made sense! This nightstand is sturdy, reasonably attractive, and almost fun to assemble (use an electric screwdriver). The 2 year old and 4 year old have both climbed on it already to test how well it holds up, and I'm happy to report it's doing fine.

The nightstand looks great in the bedroom. It is very easy to assemble. A great value.
