I received this headboard 2 days after ordering it. All the pieces were in great condition and my boyfriend and his friend were able to assemble it within 45 minutes. I got the white laminate finish and it looks great in my room. Lots of storage space and sturdy construction was definitely worth the price I paid.

Great item! I bought this for my 9 yr old daugher and she loves it! I actually put it together by myself and its very sturdy. Thinking about getting one for myself now...my only complaint is that I bought it 3 months ago and now the price has gone down lower and I don't think I can get a price adjustment!!

Product is pressed wood and dowels used to put the headboard together were defective with air bubbles in the dowel causing them to snap off once they were placed into their respective holes during the assembly. I went and purchased wooden dowels at the local hardware store and had to cut the dowels to the length that were included in the assembly kit. Overall, once put together the headboard looks nice, but you will also have to drill holes into the legs to be able to attach the headboard to the bedframe.

Only glitch is with a queen bed, you may need a 2 by 4 to use to attach headboard to frame, if your frame is wide like ours is. This is our second one. We have had first for over three years and are still loving it, it is great. We just needed another.

The bookcase headboard was exactly what I was looking for. It was fairly simple to put together, just a little time consuming. The only problem is I already had the queen bed frame, and it was slightly too wide for the headboard. When I got it together and inserted the bed frame, one of the side front trim pieces came loose and is barely attached now. It still looks good, and will work.

The only complaint I have on this headboard is the quality of the finish on the top of the unit. The top piece of the original shipment had a series of nicks along the front edge - not big nicks, but not what you want when you are buying new furniture. I emailed them, and they sent a new top piece. Overall, it is good for the price.

If
you can guess the proper edges and pegs and find the screw holes
without spending a whole day. I do not think this is a good project for
a beginner. I have had some experiance but after studying the
instruction booklet 2 or 3 times the booklet is still on my night stand
and the 80lbs of boards are still in the open box on the bedroom floor
until I think I have a half a day or more to really take my time to not
make any mistakes because this project is not a forgiving one. One
mistake and you can screw up the whole deal. Nice finish and it is the
presswood vinered boards, not real wood like I thought it would be. If I had known I would never have ordered it and would have borrowed my neighbors table saw and built one from scratch and paid someone to finish it!

Recieved the item and started to assemble. Once I was ready to nail in the back piece I noticed it was damaged on the face side. Decided it was too much trouble to return it, so I went with the open shelving look and did not install it. It does look very good and looks more expensive than it was.

I found this headboard hard to assemble, The pegs were hard to fit into the holes, and some did not line up properly. It took several hours to put together, with some mishap, I ordered this for my teenage son, it looks fine after all. but not totally thrilled with the product.

The Headboard is nice and has very simple instructions. The only problem is with a couple of the plastic connectors (when hammering in the plastic connectors be careful you don¿t hit them hard, they¿ll pop through to the top and leave a very ugly pop out mark.) Overall great product for the price.

This looks great when put together and it is much bigger / taller than I thought it would be. The wood is a nice grain and there were no dings or chipping, the surface is very smooth, looks almost like one solid piece of furniture. What I like especially is that with a headboard like this you don't also need bedside tables so it saves you from having to buy a headboard and tables. Putting it together does require concentration, the directions could be a bit better but it only took about 45 minutes to finish.

I was looking for something inexpensive but nice looking for my guest room. This headboard fit the bill. Don't be afraid of having to construct it. My daughter and I put it together in less than an hour. The instructions are easy and the tool requirements are minimal. It looks good with the other furniture in the room. The bookshelves are generous. My son visited recently and noticed it right away. I recommend this highly!

I received the headboard in a surprisingly early delivery.
It was in good condition. It was easy to assemble. My teenage kids assembled it in about an hour. The headboard is a good piece of furniture that is worth the money spent for it.

Thank you for providing other customer reviews. This product was well packaged, no damage and shipped very timely. It was very easy to assemble. The finished product is exactly what we wanted. However, we learned that the frame you expect to attach needs to be the flat or flush to the frame headboard bracket.

BOUGHT THIS HEADBOARD FOR MY NEW GUEST ROOM...I AM NOT THE BEST AT PUTTING THINGS TOGETHER, BUT I DID IT!! BY MYSELF AND WITH ANY MALE INTERVENTION,...LADIES U CAN DO IT!!! FOR THE PRICE I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT...GIVE THE ROOM A VERY NICE CLEAN YET COZY APPEARNACE...HAVE HAD MANY COMPLIMENTS!!
