Looks good, but not the easiest to assemble. This definately takes two people to put together.

This is a nice looking bench and a nice size, but if I saw it in a store I wouldn't have spent over $80 for it. The material is pressed particle board so be careful not to split/shred it. The instructions could be better - we noticed 2 specific steps were missing. Thankfully my husband has lots of experience putting things together, otherwise we would've made mistakes. The bottom decorative moulding piece doesn't have any support in the center since it only attaches at the sides, so we're going to add an elbow behind it for support, since it bows in a little and could easily be damaged when moving it or bumping it with a foot by accident. The top & side moulding pieces give it a finished look, but they do reduce the hole size by 1-2" in case you look for baskets to place in the cubby holes. Also the back cover piece simply nails onto the sides and vertical boards - it doesn't recess into them, so need to be careful not to snag it when moving it around. It did arrive very quickly - less than a week - awesome!

I ordered this to go in our dining room under a window to store books, etc. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and looks of it. It was easy to put together. We ran into one problem: When assembling, don't pound too hard on the wooden pegs that fit on the underside of the top piece. We ended up damaging the top a bit. It was noticeable but not too bad. However, when we called overstock, they sent us another top piece for free and very quickly! We have been very pleased with overstock.com's service.

This was exactly what I was looking for, down to the exact measurements. Beautiful design, great classic white finish, very good quality! I do recommend having two people put it together rather than one. You won't be dissappointed with this purchase!

This bench is exactly what I was looking for. The assembly was so easy that my 4 year old was able to help me. They are sturdy enough for me & my husband to sit on & the cubby's are big enought for baskets of toys & large books. Love it!

I am a fairly handy female and I was able to assemble this in a reasonable amount of time. I don't know exactly how long it took since I was watching t.v. while working on it. As with any pre manufactured furniture product I would recommend using wood glue to help make it more sturdy.Nice for the price. Product looks good, would have given it 5 stars if the top didn't have the small chip. Assembly was fairly easy, but would have been nice if the finished sides were represented differently than they were in the instructions. It would have saved time.

The assembly directions coiuld be a bit more clear - ended up assemblng twice before it all fit properly. Looks good at the end of the bed in the beachouse. Matches the headboard ordered earlier. Easy shopping at OS as always.

we recently moved and I needed something to organize my daughters Littlest Pet Shop collection, so I wouldn't start throwing away toys. This cubby was the perfect solution!!! It's pretty, functional and easy to put together. From opening the box to organizing the toys into the cubby took about an hour and a half and everyone's happy!

My oldest daughter picked out this bench for her room that we just painted. I looks so nice at the foot of her bed with her new comforter and dark raspberry walls. When she showed it to me online the price was great but could not believe how cheap the shipping was.

I struggled for a few minutes with the directions. Once I figured them out and slapped my forehead with a "Oh! That;s what they mean!", I was fine. Super cute and works great in the space I planned for. Love it. It was a good deal too!

I HAVE ORDERED MANY ITEMS FROM OVERSTOCK FOR YEARS AND THIS ITEM IS IMPOSSIBLE. THE INSTRUCTION ARE SIMPLE ENOUGH. THE CONNECTING HARDWARE IS USELESS. TWO PEICES ACTUALLY PIERCED THE TOP OF THE BENCH AND IS NOW UNSIGHTLY. THE HOLES FOR SCREWS WERE TOO BIG AND THE SCREWS WOULD NOT STAY IN. THE ONLY WAY TO RETURN IT WOULD BE TO USE AN AXE AND BREAK IT INTO PIECES SMALL ENOUGH TO FIT IN A BOX

This bench was very easy to assemble. I did it myself in about a half an hour. It looks great and it has met all my expectations. I use it in my daughter's room and she has plenty of room to put her books and toys in it and also an extra place to sit. It is a very classic looking bench and can fit with just about any decor. I would definately buy this bench again if I were to need another one!

This bench is worth every penny. I put it in the kitchen as a seat bench for my grandkids. I sit on it all the time. Very sturdy. Was very pleased with it and would recommend it to anyone

I purchased the bench to use in the dressing room at our gym. My son had no problems assembling the product. It is a nice size giving room for a gym bag and still space for somone to sit upon while tying shoes, etc. I would definitely recommend this product.

I was very pleased upon the setup of my Monterey Cubby. It is a brilliant white and sturdy, just what I was looking for. The storage baskets were not hard to find and they fit perfectly! I am very pleased with this product. Thanks Overstock for offering quality products at a reasonable price.

I got this in white, for my craft room, for extra seating and storage. It fits perfectly under the window, and I found baskets at a discount store that exactly fit the cubby holes. Assembly instructions were clear, and I got it done in under an hour, by myself. Shipping was super fast. I think it arrived 2 days after I ordered it. Definitely worth the price.
