I thought it would be a little more sturdy, and a little better quality, the veneer when I unpacked it from the shipping carton is bubbling or lifting, I pray it lasts a few years based on this experience I do not believe I will purchase anymore furniture from Overstock.com it was very easy for my friend to put together for me. I have purchased other items from Overstock.com and I was pleased!
I wouldn't put this in an adult's room, but it is ok for a toddler/little girl's room. The drawers do not slide in and out smoothly. It took about 2 hours to put together. The product looks nice in the room. The dresser is big enough to fit little girls clothes, but would NOT be good for adults. For a $200.00 dresser, it is not bad.
I hired a handyman to assemble the dresser and once completed, the first thing I saw was a two-inch divot on the edge of the top of it, right in the middle. It had obviously been painted over at the manufacturing/shipping plant, but it's very noticable. If my husband or I had assembled it we would have caught it and sent it back immediately, but at this point it was finished and ready to go into my two-year-old's room. Too much hassle to disassemble and return for the low cost of the piece, but I'm still disappointed in the lack of QA. Overstock responded to my email by telling me about the manufacturer's warranty, so I hope to simply receive a new top piece.
We bought this dresser for our young daughter and it is perfect for her. It seems shorter than an average dresser, which is right for a child. It looks nice and the drawers are spacious, though the dresser is a bit wobbly. We have it on a carpeted surface. My husband assembled it, and I think it took him 3 hours.
I feel completely scammed. This "furniture" is made so cheaply that with the lightest of nudges and I mean light the entire thing wobbles. It's unethical to sell furniture that is so worthless. One of the drawers arrived broken. Completely unhappy with this product.
We looked everywhere for a dresser for our daughter's room and couldn't find anything around $200 that wasn't cheap and flimsy. Overstock changed all that...this dresser is really strong and sturdy. I won't have to worry about it tipping over if the kids climbed it. Also, it's really cute and holds a lot of clothes. You won't be disappointed!
The item is not as pictured for the following reasons. A) be sure to read the fine print on the dimensions. Yes- it was my own fault for not looking at the "height" of the dresser (noticed in another review they mentioned the same thing). I was just so concerned it was going to fit in my daughters new apartment, I only looked at the width and the depth of the piece. However, by the way the company staged the shot, you were lead to believe it was made for a teenager or adult. Ends up it is children's furniture. B) the photo gives the impression that the furniture is of a nice quality. Well just forget that! It is a piece of garbage! The holes did not line up for the screws. My husband gave it a little bit too much of a push and cracked one of the slates. Now he has to try and fit it. Another drawer does not line up with the drawer next to it. Bottom line- my daughter was trying to save herself some money, but you get what you pay for!
I have owned this piece for 7 years now and it is still as beautiful as the day I put it together. Its extremely sturdy, and the white finish never fades. If it gets dirty or dusty a damp cloth will clean it up right away. It has held up nicely to everyday ware and tare. Gliders still work as well as the day I purchased this item. Top has not chipped or worn at all over the past 7 years of me having jewelry and perfume and such on top all the time.

Better than **** in the sense that the names are pronounceable....... Impossible to get together. The parts barely fit and there are hundreds of them. Once I did get it assembled - I brought it to the curb. Cheap, flimsy and not worth storing anything in Usually have great luck with overstock. This one was a let down
All the bottom of the drawers fell out, making it impossible to use, as well as impossible to open the drawers. Dealt with it for 3 months before throwing it out and getting a new one.

Yes, there are dimensions listed in the description -- so this is my fault -- but the photo makes this dresser look huge! It's actually quite - it's more like a dresser for a child or a toddler - certainly not an adult. It's shorter and less deep than most dressers.
We bought this for my 2.5 yr old daughter. It's a beautiful dresser and in my opinion great quality, especially considering the price and cost to ship which was practically nothing. I don't think we could find anything like this at a furniture store. It's a great dresser and perfect for our needs. My husband was impressed with the workmanship and he was able to put it together in about an hour.
The dresser is true to the picture. It was fairly easy to put together. The quality is fair, but for the price it is fine. You definitely won't be able to stuff the draws because of the quality. Overall it is nice but won't last forever.
You better like putting many, many pieces together if you buy this dresser! It was like a dresser kit! And the finished product is cheap and wobbly. We ended up putting it in our shed to store junk. A piece of junk that holds junk! You get what you pay for and in this case, even less.
This dresser is very clean and a nice piece to look at, the assembly took us about 2 hours but I'm sure we could of shaved about 45 minutes off had we had another screw driver haha. It's sturdy enough to not make me regret buying this and the only reason I did not give 5 stars is that there was a black screw missing that was needed for putting the back of the drawers together and also the drawer bottoms are kind of ...light... cheap? It will make moving it a breeze though because the drawers are far from heavy so I guess that can be taken as a pro and and a con.
