I received my valances quickly and I was so pleased with the quality of these. I had ordered two tiers and one swag. After I put them up I realized I only needed one tier and the swag. I have returned the additional tier. These valances are beautifully made and very true to the picture. I have made valances in the last, and I feel it was well worth the price to get these. I love them.Read More

In addition to wavy stripes in header of valance that are really noticeable, they are so wrinkled. If they were packaged in larger plastic bag maybe that would help wrinkle problem.Read More
I am very happy with this valance. The weight of the fabric is very heavy, and it looks expensive. The color is very nice and matches what is shown online. I bought 2 valances to hang on an approx. 80-inch curtain rod, which allowed for the necessary "bunching" and gave a nice fullness. Did need to be ironed out of the package, but I was pleased at how easily and quickly the creases came out. The back of the valance is lined with a separate off-white lining. There is a top pocket for a rod, and a pocket below that if you have the type of curtain holder that is flat and vertically wide (I don't know the name of it...it's not a "rod" but is about 2-3 inches wide), so it's versatile. Would buy this or a similar product again.Read More

Questions & Answers
Hello 4breeze, it depends on the look you are going for. The more fabric width you have, the fuller the hang will be. At some point, however, it will look too crowded. I hope this information is helpful. Thank you for shopping with us!
I have 2 regular size windows. I purchased one valance for each and they look great.
In the black stripe valance is the reddish stripe color a burgundy color or more of a true red color?
Hello 4breeze, the center red stripe is closer to a true red. I hope this information is helpful. Thank you for shopping with us!
I would also say a true red. I purchased the valance as I have green accessories in the bathroom. Looks great.
Can't I just add it to the same rod to achieve a fuller effect and add to the middle of the swag??
Yes you can add it to the same rod to achieve a fuller effect and add to the middle of the swag.
Can I pair the scalloped valance with the swag valance to extend the length?
You can. It would require two rods.

How to Hang a Valance and Curtains
Hanging a valance and curtains over your window will add dimension, texture and style to any room. Window curtains with a valance give your window treatments a finished, designer look. If you want to block out light, a valance and full-length blackout panel curtain is your best choice. If you are more interested in decoration and only need to block minimal light, then a valance over sheer curtains is a good choice. It's important to measure the window and decide what type of curtains you want before you buy the curtain hardware. A cafe rod will be sufficient to support a sheer curtain, but you will need a stronger curtain rod to support heavier fabrics such as blackout panels. Also, the larger the window, the sturdier the curtain rod will need to be.

Best Dresses for Petite Women
If you are petite, finding clothing that fits correctly is essential. Petite apparel prevents you from looking boxy or drowning in too much fabric and ensures a fit that flatters your body. Shopping for petite clothing will help you find the right sizes with all the fashionable options as other departments. The best dresses for petites are easy to find with a few simple guidelines. V-necks draw the eye up toward the face. V-necks are flattering for all types of women, since they show off the neck and encourage the appearance of a long, lean body. Petite dresses that have a V-neck also create a vertical line and give the impression that you are taller. Look for petite clothing that allows you to play with accessories and show them off. For an evening look, pair the V-neck with layers of necklaces to look glamorous. Find knee-length dresses to flatter your legs. As a petite woman, flowing long dresses may cause you to look smaller. When more leg is showing, you will appear taller. A flattering petite dress is hemmed at the knee or just above the knee. Pair a petite dress with heels and your legs will appear long and lean. Don't go much shorter than slightly above the knee, since it may be inappropriate for work or more elegant parties. Select petite apparel that hits at the right length and is flattering to your curves. Vertical designs will elongate your body. Look taller by finding dresses that have a vertical design. Dresses that have vertical stripes create the illusion that there is more length. On the other hand, dresses that have too many patterns or colors may cause petite women to appear smaller. A simple dress is flattering, whether it's one solid color or contains a subtle pattern. Petite women can use a wide belt at the waist in the same color as the dress. Using a belt in a different color may cause you to look shorter, in addition to cutting your appearance in half at the waist.
