We bought this headboard to go in our guest room. It was delivered quickly, it was easy to put together, and it looks really good. I like the bookcase headboard because we didn't have to buy nightstands for the guest room, so it is more economical, and a more streamlined look. The only caveat is that it is laminated MDF, keep fluids away from it and there shouldn't be a problem!

Lots of pieces of wood & hardware needed to be sifted through to complete the assembly. The pieces were easy to identify and really not too bad to get put together compared to other pieces of furniture we have assembled in the past.The headboard looks nice, is easy to clean and quite sturdy.

Headboard looks fantastic once assembled. It is extremely heavy for one person however I did manage to assemble it alone. If I had not assembled other items in the past I would have had some difficulty with the assembly/matching the actual item to the picture in the instructions. Took me 3 hours to assemble, but the results are well worth it. We love all the compartments and the overall look of this headboard....are looking at Maple nightstands for our next project.

This headboard looks very nice once assembled.We love that we have nooks to stash the sleep number remote and the TV remote and know where there are. The cat loves new nooks to hang out in.BE VERY CAREFUL when putting the dowels in the TOP piece... IT is VERY EASY to pound them right through the top (I did). put that piece on carpet laying flat and gently tap the dowels in and you'll be fine.Overall, we are pleased. We purchased this along with the side tables and it looks wonderful.
