Love this headboard! Had a question regarding dimensions, and the helpful customer service staff was very friendly and accommodating and got back to me quickly with the answer. My question, in case you have the same, was what is the height of the headboard from floor to bottom shelf? I needed to know to see if my mattress & frame were too deep to fit under the shelf area. It is 29 inches. This was a great product and I assembled it myself in no time.

This was my first time trying furniture from Overstock. The product not only came with easy to read instructions, but it also included a timeline for how long it would take to assemble the product. Although I didn't attach the headboard to my bed frame in the end, it stands behind and fits my bed and room, perfectly. I will definitely order more furniture from them in the future.

We bought this headboard after looking in stores for a while. While it is not real wood, it gives that appearance. Strongly recommend two people to do assembly. While not difficult, it goes more smoothly with two. Had to buy hardware to connect to bed frame, but no big deal. Overall, a very good value.

Assembly is not overly difficult IF YOU CAREFULLY follow the instructions. Quality is perfectly acceptable for the price. Assembly took just over an hour.

Easy to put together. However top is a little bit dimpled where attached to base.

I am very pleased with this purchase. The price was right and the assembly went very well. We had no problems putting it together. I purchased the maple color and it matches my dressers perfectly. Once again thanks Overstock for quality item!

This headboard is great. My only complaint was that it had instructions with it wth numbers for boards, but the boards weren't numbered. It just took a lot longer to put together.

The piece is great, just as pictured on the site. My only complaint would be that the holes that were pre-drilled were not 100% on so we drilled through the top in a few places.

Very easy to assemble. Looks great. The shelves are very useful since we don't need nightstands. i would have given 5 stars but the headboard didn't have any brackets to attach to the bed frame. We had to drill holes ourselves.

less than ideal material used in construction there are better compress wood to be made for a headboard .Do not waste your money !

The headboard gives us much needed storage and a great look for a reasonable price

This was my first time using Overstock and I am pleased with the quality of the product and the ease of ordering and shipping options. I would recommend this site and this product to my friends and family. The headboard is a solid, quality piece of furniture. It looks more expensive that what it is which is great for my family since we are on a tight budget! The directions were easy to follow which made for a stress-free assembly.

I've had this for several years. Three of the long boards were broken on delivery. Replacement parts were sent quickly with no hassle. Overall, the set up was straightforward - the instructions were fine. As noted, the top piece was annoying to attach - we discovered on our first try to connect the wood dowels the problem that other folks had noted - cracked the top (and most visible) part of the wood. Cosmetic only - after learning what not to do, the rest of the dowels were placed successfully. We have some stuff on top that hide the damage so it's not a big deal. For the price we paid, it's fine - quality is good, not great - but, it looks very nice and so far it has been sturdy. Many of the shelves just collect dust right now, but the idea of more storage space is certainly met with this product.

The head board Is a good size and the color is nice.but you must be careful when you assemble the top NOT to tap the dowels in to far as they will dimple the top.But all in all not bad for the money..

I recently bought this headboard and am very happy with the value of it. It took around 10 days to recieve after I ordered it and unless you are a strong person it takes two people to lift and manuever the box it comes in as it is very awkward and heavy. I built this on my own with no help from anyone else and it took me approx 50 minutes, it would take much less if you have someone to help out, but definetly have a drill with a charged battery handy - it goes much quicker and smoother. My only complaint would be the piece of backing that came with the headboard that you nail to the back of the headboard - mine was either not rectangular or my building skills are off (and they aren't), and so I couldn't really nail it into place on all 4 sides, but you can't tell to look at it and it's a nice piece of furniture for the price, I would definetly buy this item again!

I ordered this for my aunt because she really needed a bedroom set. when it arrived i took it over we put it together and she loved it. It was a great buy.

Purchased this for our weekend house. My husband assembled in a morning. All rough edges are covered by the finishing, making it look like more expensive furniture. Would purchase from this company again.

the product was a higher quality than I expected. the free delivery offered was a bargain as well. great picture and zooming feature was very important to make a decision and detail the product. very important since it was a medium price item. i'm very please with my purchase and will definetly check out your site again for future purchases.

This is a nice looking headboard. I read the reviews cautioning agianst the possible "pop thru" when attaching the fasteners to the underside of the top and so carefully tapped them into the holes while the headboard was on the carpet. I will now caution future buyers to not tap them in while the top is upside down on a carpeted or soft surface! Tho Overstock offered to send a replacement we repaired it ourselves. It is in a place that is covered by something. All in all-I am happy with this purchase!
