Products were not as expected. The veneer tears from a slight bumping, and peels off like one pulls off a price sticker. Assembly was simply enough, and can be done without too much difficulty. The products do not feel it can hold normal usage well, and will be placed in the closets as storage units, initial intentions were to use them as nightstands.

I would never buy this again as it is so difficult to put it together.

I bought this based on the price and look of the nightstand, and with those in mind, this is a good buy. I was a bit dissapointed in the quality of some of the materials, but this was just an extra nightstand for my daughters room, and she loves it. I had no trouble putting it together, despite reading some of the other reviews here to the contrary. This is fine for a kid's room, but is not what I would consider a "real" piece of furniture.

I bought the whole bedroom outfit. I put together the nightstand first because it was the smallest. It did take a bit of time to put together but knowing how it assembles made puttting the rest of the bedroom set together easier. It is sturdy and provides the use I needed at a fairly decent price. I would recommend this product.

The nightstands matched my bedroom furniture to the T when I got them. They were worth the money. During shipping the inside of one of the drawers broke in half but we managed to use wood glue and it is holding together pretty good.

The look is nice but the drawer bottoms are pressed fiber board, I'm a little concerned if heavier items are placed in the drawers. The assembly instruction were easy to follow.

I was SO disappointed when I opened the box and the color was cherry, not maple! The description says maple, it's not honey maple, it's more cherry maple, and doesn't match what I have (true maple). I'm also lucky I've put one of these together before (similar product w/ better directions). The directions are scarce. I have to keep it, it's too expensive to send back and it's put together already. It isn't worth the **.**, looks kind of cheap. Not Overstock's fault...

After purchasing and assembling the Montego Headboard I was eager to complete the set and assmble the nightstands. The product is very attractive, the drawers balanced perfectly, however, once again the directions are not that easy to follow. If I had not assembled numerous other furniture items this one would have caused me even more concern than the headboard. At one point in the instructions it states...connect the ...to the.... and does not identify which screw or fastener. I had to visually match the "picture" and then count the number of screws in order to determine which screw was needed. All in all....a wonderful product...we love them!

It was not the color shown in the picture, it's darker. After assembling, the drawers can't both fit in it at once.

Relatively easy to assemble. Drawers have to be lifted up before pulling out; so takes some getting used to. Good value for folks who move often and need something durable yet relatively attractive.

I found this to be a an overall good product. Considerable assembly was required and one part was missing. The missing part was easy to order on the Internet. The instructions are clear and not to difficult to figure out. The end product looks good and I am sure it will last a very, very long time. Metal slides make the drawers easy to operate. If you can spend an evening putting it together, I think you will be happy with it.

The complete product is good but the drawers are poor, bad assembly. drawres did not fit well.

THIS ITEM HAD MISSING PIECES AND WHEN PUT TOGETHER THE SCREWS CAME THRU THE TOP OF THE STAND. ALSO WE ONLY GOT THE SLIDERS FOR THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE BUREAU.

I put this together for an 11 yr old boy. This piece does not look like it is girly or boy like it is unisex. This is easy to put together. It came out looking as it did in the picture.

I opened the box and thought it would take forever but it was an easy assemble and is very sturdy. However don't lose any pieces, then you'll have to be creative.

The quality of the furniture are fair, it is a Maple color furniture, has nothing to do with Maple wood. I am missing several screws and trying to figure out how can I proceed assemble it

I bought 2 of the nightstands. It took me several hours to put one together. The directions need to be a lot more detailed. After I got the first one together, I thought the second would be easier. It was easier. I put it together the exact same way. The only problem is that the screw holes for the drawers were off about an inch and the drawers won't go in. So now I am stuck with a nightstand that I can't put the drawers in. They would both have been very nice if the second one was correct.

Even with being experienced at assembling products like this, it took me two solid hours to get this nightstand put together. Thank the ridiculously difficult-to-understand instructions for that. The pictures were confusing, and I had to take apart a few pieces because I put them together wrong. The construction on this piece is really solid, though, which is saying something considering the price. It looks perfect with our bedroom furniture, and I would recommend it to anyone.

I have been looking for night stands to replace my very old hand me down night stands. I was not in the position now to spend a lot of money. For the price these night stands are pretty sturdy. The brushed nickel hardware is nice. I buffed them up a little more with some Scotch-Brite and they look even better. They were easy to put together. The bottom brace can either be round or the notched one shown in the picture. I chose round. I thought the notched side made it look a little cheesy. Overall I am satisfied with the product.
