Very nice looking and perfect fit for what I wanted. Not fine furniture of course, but quite adequate. Putting it together required more than average skills ~ thank goodness my husband is a genius and retired firefighter which accomplished the job beautifully.
This piece of furniture looks good, but it was not easy to assemble. Some of the pieces were poorly cut, and thus we needed to adjust them in order to fit together. In the end, we manage to put it all together, and it looks decently well, but it was really a hazzle.
The size and price are good. But how the piece fits together is poor. Too many pieces just push together. Was expecting a venner top; it is painted finish. Looks good, but a spill of any chemical and the finish would be gone.
i really liked the finished product; it is exactly what i was looking for in my office at workhowever, the directions were in the wrong order and some of the directions gave misinformation...i gave up on trying to put it together---but my college-aged daughter thought it was a good challenge, she got it put together in about 4-5 hours.i have ordered several things from overstock and not have been pleased with everthing
The piece is nice, but there was a scratch on the top, the back part was split and there were no backs to the drawers. I emailed the company and they will send the replacement parts. I didn't mention the scratch because I'd already put it together and wasn't about to unassemble the whole thing because of a scratch. I'll put a lamp over it! It was a little tricky to assemble, especially when they sent three SIDES to each drawer, and no backs!
It also took me about 2 hours to put this table together, and it looks exactly the way it does in the picture. The only problem that I encountered was that one piece for the drawer had a hole punched about 2 milimeters higher than where the screw was supposed to fit and I ended up having to sand down the corresponding piece just to make it fit. That's what took me the longest time, but once I got passed that, it was just like putting together a puzzle. I used a power drill to screw bolts, a hammer and a flat screwdriver. To make your job easier, I would recommend that you place the drawer rails on the cabinet at the BEGINNING, because once the frame is set up, it's just a tiny bit harder to screw things in. All in all, it is a good looking table and sturdy too.
It took me about 2 hours to build. It was not wide enough for what I wanted to use it for. Make sure you measure the width if you are buyimg it for a satellite box. But overall very good product.
