We have had this dining set for about a month now. It was not hard to put together, but the chairs were a little time consuming, even with electronic tools. It is quite sturdy and comfortable. The table surface is surprisingly resilient; I've inadventertly dropped a few plates and glasses on the table without leaving a mark. We were coaster-less for a few weeks, yet water from our glasses didn't warp the surface or finish at all. It is on the smaller side. Four adults' place settings fit very comfortably, but you would have to put all the entrees elsewhere or really crowd the table. It is perfect in our breakfast nook for casual meals.
Very nice product for the price. Perfect size for a smaller apartment. I looked in several stores for a smaller dining table and I could not find anything decent and nothing for this price. My only complaint is that is scratches easily. But I still have no regrets about my purchase.
Pros: It's a very nice looking table. The chairs are comfortable. Cons: It's a little small. We can barely fit 4 place mats on the table. Fortunately we knew that when we ordered it. The table also arrived with a small 1/2 inch scratch on the surface... could be the shipping company's fault. Assembly took a little longer than expected. Lots of screws!
