Great bedroom set!
This is a very nice set including dovetail drawer workmanship. I thought the inside the drawers (bottoms) could have been a little smoother, but nothing a drawer liner won't fix. The set came quickly and was very well packaged to protect the finish which is a beautiful color! The pieces are heavy and would recommend a 2 person move. The bed assembly was okay as 2 of the cut outs for the bolts to connect the headboard or footboard to the side rail weren't quite deep enough and it was a little struggle getting the washers on the bolts. The pieces are substantial in size, so make sure you measure first! The headboard with its padding is wonderful too!

I was relying on reviews of others when I was purchasing the set. It came in two- three weeks. Great delivery, most of the set already put together. I had to put the bed together but it was no problem at all. Color is much more beautiful in the set than it is in the picture. And the set looks much better in the bedroom than in the picture. It has a hidden drawers in the night stands and in the dressed, that was a plus. Headboard looks better because leather color is chocolate brown and not almost black like it is in the picture. I will have to agree that mirror could be a better shape( round corners not the best match for this set), but it is not a deal breaker. Dresser is much longer and taller than I expected, and it looks great.

I received my set last week. One of the leg for the dresser is broken and I am still waiting for the replacement. other than that, it looks good and easy to assemble. the only thing I am not impressed is that the leather part of the headboard is very stiff

the whole set is good wood work and sturdy built.
well this set was bought by me for our new house in rosharon houston TX,O,stock gave us a special discount even after full payment of the set( $100.00 was refunded),since I am aborad my son recieved it,the delivery was safe and efficient,right into the bed room after request and with no extra charge,my son was very satisfied by the quality of the wood the rich colour,and the sturdy built of the whole set,I would be doing all my shopping in future bu the O'stock,and would strongly recommend to all my friends and relatives. Monte Clair bedroom set
this is one of the best things i have bought from Overstock. the quality, colour and everything about this is just excellent. i spend the same amount on a set and it just collapsed after moving as it was poorly made. this is a solide wood and will last for a very long time. infact i couldnt be happier as the product looks better and nice than the picture. thank you overstock

So very happy
This bedroom set is Awesome. I was at wits end b/c this was my third attempt at getting a bedroom set from Overstock (see my review on the Melrose). The second bedroom set did not even come off of the truck b/c it was badly damaged. in the meantime i am sleeping on the floor for 3 months! i needed a break!. The Monte Clair could not have shown up at a better time. the price was right, and many great reviews helped me make up my mind. Solid construction, EZ assembly, and handsome looks make this bedroom set a winner. I was able to put it ALL together myself. The trick is to move the pieces as close to the bedroom as possible, while they are in boxes. I was able to slide the dresser all the way into the apartment. Of course being on a lower floor helps!!! The only negative I have is that the dresser drawers could have be a little bigger. But that is not a deal breaker here!
