This is a very nice set including dovetail drawer workmanship. I thought the inside the drawers (bottoms) could have been a little smoother, but nothing a drawer liner won't fix. The set came quickly and was very well packaged to protect the finish which is a beautiful color! The pieces are heavy and would recommend a 2 person move. The bed assembly was okay as 2 of the cut outs for the bolts to connect the headboard or footboard to the side rail weren't quite deep enough and it was a little struggle getting the washers on the bolts. The pieces are substantial in size, so make sure you measure first! The headboard with its padding is wonderful too!

I was relying on reviews of others when I was purchasing the set. It came in two- three weeks. Great delivery, most of the set already put together. I had to put the bed together but it was no problem at all. Color is much more beautiful in the set than it is in the picture. And the set looks much better in the bedroom than in the picture. It has a hidden drawers in the night stands and in the dressed, that was a plus. Headboard looks better because leather color is chocolate brown and not almost black like it is in the picture. I will have to agree that mirror could be a better shape( round corners not the best match for this set), but it is not a deal breaker. Dresser is much longer and taller than I expected, and it looks great.

I received my set last week. One of the leg for the dresser is broken and I am still waiting for the replacement. other than that, it looks good and easy to assemble. the only thing I am not impressed is that the leather part of the headboard is very stiff

well this set was bought by me for our new house in rosharon houston TX,O,stock gave us a special discount even after full payment of the set( $100.00 was refunded),since I am aborad my son recieved it,the delivery was safe and efficient,right into the bed room after request and with no extra charge,my son was very satisfied by the quality of the wood the rich colour,and the sturdy built of the whole set,I would be doing all my shopping in future bu the O'stock,and would strongly recommend to all my friends and relatives. this is one of the best things i have bought from Overstock. the quality, colour and everything about this is just excellent. i spend the same amount on a set and it just collapsed after moving as it was poorly made. this is a solide wood and will last for a very long time. infact i couldnt be happier as the product looks better and nice than the picture. thank you overstock

This bedroom set is Awesome. I was at wits end b/c this was my third attempt at getting a bedroom set from Overstock (see my review on the Melrose). The second bedroom set did not even come off of the truck b/c it was badly damaged. in the meantime i am sleeping on the floor for 3 months! i needed a break!. The Monte Clair could not have shown up at a better time. the price was right, and many great reviews helped me make up my mind. Solid construction, EZ assembly, and handsome looks make this bedroom set a winner. I was able to put it ALL together myself. The trick is to move the pieces as close to the bedroom as possible, while they are in boxes. I was able to slide the dresser all the way into the apartment. Of course being on a lower floor helps!!! The only negative I have is that the dresser drawers could have be a little bigger. But that is not a deal breaker here!

I ordered this set and it arrived in just a few days! The bedroom set fit my room perfectly and I like the color of this set. Also the style is exactly what I want. Oh, the shipping fee is only 2.95!!!

Everything was good, but the shipping was terrible. There was no updates and there was no clue when there would be a delivery. They called the day before they delivered to let you know they were coming.

I was very skeptical about purchasing such a large item online especailly a bedroom set, it took me several weeks before finally deciding to buy it. Well I am so glad that I did, it is one beautiful bedroom set. The dark cherry wood is beautiful. I love my bedroom set, this was an excellent choice, and I must say it was very easy to put together, actually the only thing I had to put together was the bed frame and mirror. I highly recommend this bedroom set to whom ever is looking to re-do their bedroom.. My family loved it so much, now my neice is looking to buy a bedroom set from OverStock. Oh and shipping was fast.

We receive our bedroom set yesterday and we are absolutely thrilled with the set! The furniture has a rich look and feel to it. The shipping was lightning fast, and the customer service was excellent. Anyone interested in this set need not worry because you are really getting your monies worth with this one! The unit came packaged exceptionally well also, no damage whatsoever.

Everything about this product is amazing!!: from the ease of ordering, to the shipping (great, courteous, third party delivery service!) to the simplicity of assembling it was just marvelous - only the bed needed to be put together and was a breeze, even without the instructions!!! I love my new bedroom set! It's very nice and it looks so expensive. I love my leather headboard and the high footboard and the assembly was easy for my husband. The shipping method wasn't ideal, but the bedroom set itself was great!

I think it's a very good deal for the price, shipping itself could cost hundreds. It arrived well packed was easy to assemble.

Was a little scared about making such a large purchase sight unseen, but this was worth the risk. The set is beautiful and the furniture is so heavy and substantial. The pieces are quite large. Everythig was well packaged, and Overstock customer service was great. I have inspected all pieces but have not yet assembled because the pieces are so heavy (it;s definitely a two person job). Only the bed requires real assembly, the dresser and chest only need the drawer pulls witched to front and the mirror attached.

We love our bedroom set and it looks very nice. The bed is definitely a 2 person job and the furniture itself is pretty heavy and should be moved by 2 people. This set is a really good price for how much you get. It isn't the best quality, but the appearance overall is great. The dresser/mirror set has given us a little trouble and we can't find all of the holes in able to screw into the dresser. We're overall very happy with the purcahse.

We recieved this bedroom set in a week from the time we ordered it, and we are 5 hrs. from the nearest city. It was packaged very well, the framed mirror was broke, and overstock sent me a new one in 7 days. The bedroom set is so nice, it actually is better than the picture, the leather headbroad is beautiful. Overstock did it again!!!! I would recommand this to a friend!

Item arrived quickly in nice boxes. Quality is great. I have not assembled the bed yet - I'm waiting until our house is complete. All other pieces are great!
