We are remodeling a 1958, 22' AirStream Flying Cloud travel trailer and this shower head works perfect for our new bathroom. The adjustable( heigth ) head is great, one of us is short and the other tall so we are both very pleased with the options we have. Yes, it is mostly plastic but for the price you can't beat it. Very pleased with our purchase. Once again Overstock has not let us down!

Poor craftsmanship, it required drilling a whole into our marble wall which my husband and me decided not to sacrifice . Until now, it's just sitting in one corner of my garage. What a waste of money, i wish i could still return it. And oh, it's not made of 100% metal, 50% is made of cheap plastic. Rather splurge something that does not require ruining your wall!

This is the 3rd Monte Carlo showerhead I am buying. Not because there is anything wrong with it, but because it is so fantastic that now I'll have them in ALL our bathrooms! The ease of use and the cost cannot be beat anywhere!! Trust me, I've looked. Whether for small children who otherwise couldn't reach a showerhead, or to wash off only your feet after gardening, the multifunctional and user-friendly adjustable rod is quite handy. And the look is simple so it goes with nearly any style decor.

We were needing a shower installed in a bathroom that only had a bathtub. For some strange reason the builders of our house put the shower in the master suite and the bathtub in the other bathroom. We were annoyed almost every morning by someone knowcking on our door needing to take a shower.The new shower looks very classy, the cost was really low for the value. We paid a plumber to change the spike and the rest of the installation was done by us. The quality is beyond the expectation for the price.

we have an old house and someone some time ago had cut the pipes to the shower head behind the wall! we cannot get back there without causing major damage:( our answer has been this, we attached it to the tub spout and then onto the provided bar so we could have a shower in that bath again. works great, the only problem we have is that when in the holster on full spray it sprays from one end of our really large cast iron tub to the other end. if you keep it on pulsing massage it doesn't do that and it does feel pretty good. it doesn't actually make a mess or anything its just that we hang towels for drying off on that towel bar at the end of the tub. since our house is old and has plaster walls the fact that you can hang this with just two screws was great for us:)

This looks great but it's shiny chromed plastic. I couldn't get the shower wand to sit in its cradle during installation; I don't like the balancing act during showering. I wanted a cheap, attractive shower head for this guest bath (and dog-wash station) and that's what I got. Yes, no directions IN the box and mysterious chrome/plastic parts here, too. I recieved the shower head right away. It was fairly easy to install and it was better than I had even expected. Looks nice and works just as it should. Very easy to adjust to any desired height. tgak

After 20 years my dual level shower head started leaking and I replaced it with this one. What a delight it is! I am only 5 feet tall and just don't want to wash my hair every day when I shower. This is just great: I can lower the shower head so that it begins spraying at the chest level and needn't bother with a shower cap either. When I do want the water to come from above my head I just slide it up. It's sleek and well designed, too. My only caveat is that I haven't yet figured out how to adjust the strength of the spray as the instructions were thrown out right after a friend assembled it for me and I am totally lacking in mechanical ability. But I'm sure that part will be fine too as soon as someone shows me how to do it! LOL

I was disappointed that it came with mild damage (presumably a minor dent that occurred in shipping) but we were able to straigten it out satisfactorily by inserting a separate pipe inside it. Assembly was a breeze - basically just need to drill a couple holes and screw a couple screws. Design is ideal for a family with children of varying ages (and heights) and the price can't be beat. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another if we had need.

For the first time in my life I have a shower that fits my 5 foot two height and my husbands 6 foot one. It is so easy to use.. I love it.

I purchased this for a lady who is 91 years old and 5 foot nothing so she can adjust the shower head level to where it works best for her. SHE LOVES IT!!!! She said it is much easier for her to wash her hair and she had much better control when she needs to use a shower stool. It was easy to install and works like a charm.

this is the second one I am purchasing. I just moved and had installed (my husband did the installation) this in my previous house and loved it. It looks great and works great - the shower head has a variety of settings that go from concentrated jet to high pressure finer sprinkles. My new house has two heads, one hand held and the other fixed - I find these cumbersome & I really miss this particular up & down set. I am ordering this again and would reccommend it highly.

I love everything about my handheld shower except the face of the showerhead; I was hoping for an all chrome face, however the face is dark gray.

It was just as I expected, even though its plastic it looks good in my shower, the rod and hose looks like it is made of aluminum. For the price, it is a good value shower handle.

Nice for money. Opened box, assembled without instructions there were two chrome rings had no idea what used for. It's plastic and knew that so be easy when installing so you don't over tighten. When screwing to wall. Works well. Wouldn't use as a grab bar. Because it's plastic. But looks Chrome. Good buy for money.

This product is, as you can imagine, made mostly of plastic that LOOKS like chrome. It does look great! And, it works, too. I don't know how long it will hold up, but it met my needs for a shower of various heights and one that can be hand held. The real problem is that the directions are not clear. For example, it took me about 30 minutes to figure out how to mount the soap dish on the rod - and I have remodeled 6 houses! When all was said and done, I was left with two plasti-chrome rings about the size of shower curtain end. No mention was made of them in the directions. I wonder why they included them? The shower works just fine. You will need to caution those who use the shower to be sure NOT to use the rod (that the shower head slides up and down on) as a grab bar in case they slip. I'm sure the plastic would break off and could injure the bather. All in all, I'm happy that I finally got a shower that meets the various height needs of my guests, but it would be nice to have had it be metal.

I was looking forward to having a shower on my own, extremely short level, and was excited by what I thought was a good deal. I'm not sure how much of my disappointment is my own fault for being unfamiliar with the product and how much is attributable to poor quality of the merchandise, but I am extremely unhappy. To begin with, almost all components are plastic. What is billed as a 60-inch brass shower hose is actually only 46 inches long, and it must be brass-plated, because it weighs practically nothing when coiled in my hand. The parts did not fit together correctly, and required much adjusting and manipulation. I don't particularly care that the so-called "integrated" soap dish falls off the bar at the slightest touch, but the fact that the showerhead itself does the same thing is extremely disappointing. During my shower, the showerhead inexplicably leaped from its rest and whacked me on the shoulders three separate times! ( I suppose it's better then being whacked on the head. ) Since the showerhead does not fit correctly into the rest designed to lock it in place during water flow, it requires a complicated balancing act to perch it in place. The directions were not clear, and I had the impression that there were steps missing. I had leftover parts after completing the installation and no clue as to their purpose. I am fairly handy around the house and generally have no trouble with basic tasks, including use of power tools and complex furniture assembly. This should have been a snap . . . instead, it took more than three hours and doesn't even work correctly. I am trying to decide whether it's even worth the hassle of returning it!

I am a short person and the sliding feature is great. I love the fact that the handle can come off for ease of cleaning the shower walls. Drilling the holes into the walls was difficult and I wasn't crazy about the shower settings. However I am happy with my purchase.
