Giverny sits on the banks of the River Seine. The village lies 50 miles Northwest from Paris, on the border next to the province of Normandy.
Claude Monet noticed the village of Giverny while looking out the window of a train. In 1890 Monet bought a house and land in Giverny and created the magnificent gardens he wanted to paint.

'Artist's Garden at Giverny'
The art work is lovely, full of color and a delightful addition to any room. I have recently remodeled and find the furniture in the living room a little darker then expected. Adding a few pieces of light colorful art work, including this one from Monet has added some sparkle to the room. The picture and frame are of an unexpected quality for a very reasonable price.

Beautiful reproduction
This is my favorite Monet and the reproduction is absolutely beauriful. The frame is very ornate and rich looking. You would expect to pay 3 X as much for a painting of this quality.
