This was a big disappointment. I thought I was getting a nice looking fixture, but what I got was fixture that looks like corroded aluminum foil. I would never have order it had the photo been a truer representation of what it looks like. I actually bought some metalic spray paint so that I can make it look more acceptable. As for ease of assembly.... I don't really know. It's still in the box.

The light is simple and elegant and looks great in our entry foyer and coordinates well with a larger chandelier, similar in style that is visable from the foyer.

It looks great in the dining room ! The quality for the price is great ! It looks more expensive than it is !

I just received my Monaco Forged Iron 2-light Semi-Flush Pendant along with three of the Monaco Forged Iron 1-light Mini Pendant Fixtures (which unfortunately for me there were only three left!) and they are of wonderful craftsmanship. I wanted 4 of the minis but three will suffice and they are looking great in my new kitchen. Too bad I cannot send a photo! The pictures online made me think the iron was darker in color but with the stainless steel appliances it's looking just fine.

Very nice piece......had to shorten the drop-down, but that was easy to do. It is very understated.

Is not as good as most of the merchandise I buy at O. I thought for the money it could have been more substantial. Well it hangs on the ceiling now, I spray painted it black, because it is not really forged iron, just forged iron looking. It went in one of the homes I decorated. Would not buy it for me.

This is a decent, basic light fixture, but the finish looks somewhat cheap. We ended up spraypainting the metal portions black, and it is much improved. The mounting plates needed a bit of modification to fit, but it was nothing a screwdriver couldn't fix. Recommended with the above caveats.
