This review was delayed by the wallpaper store. The whole project to redo our small bath was a comedy of errors but now I can say it was worth the aggravation. The vanity is beautiful and very well made, the sink and faucet are so clean and modern looking and not like everything you see from the box stores. We plan to use the interior shelf to make a matching wall shelf since we don't need it on the inside. One tip, lower the water pressure so the waterfall faucet doesn't spray out of the bowl. I am still shocked at how beautiful this unit is, specially for the most reasonable price. This purchase just confirms (again) why Overstock.com is my favorite website, they do not disappoint.Read More
We finished our basement and we're big fans of the modern look of this vanity. According to the contractor (and I'll spare the expletives) it was quite difficult to install. It did not come with instructions. The water gets absolutely everywhere so you have to caulk very very well. Make sure to caulk between the glass top and the vanity itself. It's in a basement so it doesn't get a lot of traffic, but even the traffic it gets makes it a nightmare to clean. The water spots never come out from under the basin or from the underside of the waterfall faucet (where it tends to drip after it is off). I think sometime in the future I might purchase a colored replacement basin so that the water spots are not so visible. The price we paid was good and we love Overstock's delivery and customer service. My advice would be to buy something else for a more frequented bathroom.Read More
This is an amazing deal! Not only does it look like it cost thousands of dollars but it is easy to install. You can't beat the price and couldn't touch the sink and faucet for the value. It's solid wood with an amazing almost black finish. I highly recommend!Read More
We purchased this sink for our powder room. It looks great and is of nice quality. However, the clear silicone to adhere the glass counter top is not needed. In fact, if you use the clear silicone or any other color, it will take away from the look of the frosted glass. We did this as instructed, but ended up taking the glass off and having to clean it. The silicone made it look like there wasn't a frosted finish in spots. Luckily, pulling off the glass and removing the silicone didn't damage the finish of the wood. An adhesive isn't required since the glass is so heavy and the sink and faucet mount are on top of the glass. The shelf is pointless after the plumbing is installed.Read More
Excellent sink and very good price. Very modern. Had to saw off part of back side as the opening did not line up w/ the pipes so could not use shelf inside but not a problem for me. Still able to store stuff in the cabinet. Have only had it for several months and still working fine.Read More
Beautiful wood cabinet and sink .duarable material the wood accidently got wet and it with stood the water. no damage was present. looks and work beautifully.Read More
Very nice sink- but water leaks underneath the glass base a bit. Called the manufacturer - suggested caulking. Caulked it- still leaks a bit. It was fine for the money.Read More
cabinet is a little smaller than I thought it would be, but I love this vanity and we get so many compliments. My husband put it together after several trips to Lowes...but he finally got it finished and is so proud of himself and the way it looks. I only gave it 4 stars because of the height, but we are tall.Read More
This is a lovely cabinet, the quality is very good for the price I paid and we have gotten nothing but compliments on it since installation. The only problem is that the directions on how to put the sink together needs to be more detailed. I still have to take it apart and re position the gaskets because I have them in the wrong place on the bowl. Also, once you install the plumbing, it is impossible to use the middle shelf, there is simply no room for it, I could not use the chrome bullet trap and down spout that came with it as it did not match my plumbing configuration. You will also no doubt have to cut the back out of this cabinet in order to get the drain hole and water supply to fit. So have a hand jigsaw ready because I had to do a lot of cutting to modify. It will also be a bear to keep clean, we keep a towel by the faucet to wipe off and dry the faucet and bowl everytime we use it or you will see water spots on everything if you dont, maybe not the most practical sink and faucet combination out there, but for low traffic half baths it will be fine. If you have a high traffic bathroom, I would go with something more practical.Read More
Product was as shown. It's perfect for my new powder room. I wanted something different, but classic and this worked well.Read More

Decorating with a Contemporary Italian Bathroom Vanity Set
When you crave modern decor, try experimenting with a contemporary Italian bathroom vanity set. Instead of ornate rolling scrolls with fancy carvings, think of simplistic vanities and eclectic accessories. A contemporary Italian bathroom vanity set is all about shiny material and minimalistic straight, flat lines. You can still keep the gorgeous marble tops and wooden cupboards of modern bathroom furniture, but make it fit contemporary rules. Below are some guidelines for decorating with a contemporary Italian bathroom vanity set.
How to Install a Medicine Cabinet
Show your creative flair and add a practical touch to your bathroom by installing a bathroom mirror with cabinets (also called a medicine cabinet). Not only will the extra storage provide space for smaller toiletries and medicine, but it can also bring new life to an otherwise drab and overlooked area. Complement your mirror with coordinating shelves for towels and a vanity sink with room underneath to put larger items, such as cleaning supplies and toilet paper. Choose a bathroom cabinet that will be big enough for placement of items for you as well as for overnight guests.
Top 5 Vanity Sinks
One good way to design your bathroom is to use the bathroom vanity as the centerpiece of the entire room. As the focal point, this makes the choice of the bathroom vanity sink style and materials one that can determine the theme for your entire bath. How to Avoid Clutter on Bathroom Vanities
Your bathroom may be the busiest room in the house, but it doesn't have to feel like it. Taking the time to organize your countertops will not only save you time when you're searching for everyday items, but it will also give your home a fresh, put-together feeling. Bathroom vanities are easy to overload with clutter because so much happens there. However, following these simple tips will help you get around this dilemma.
Making the Most of a Small Bathroom Vanity

A small bathroom vanity may be all that fits into the room, but that doesn't mean you can't find ways to make the most of it. How to Install a Bathroom Sink

Whether you're installing a new undermount sink, vessel sink, basin sink or a regular vanity sink, most of the steps will remain the same. If you're installing a pedestal bathroom sink, however, not all of these instructions will apply. Best Materials for Cabinets
After deciding on the purpose and room for your new cabinet, it's time to think about material. As with all furniture, you will want to select a cabinet material depending on what you plan to use your cabinet for, as well as your personal taste. Take a look below to learn about the best materials for cabinets. Wood: The majority of cabinets produced are created with hard wood. Wood cabinets can be found in both traditional and contemporary designs. If you are hoping for durability in addition to design, no cabinet looks better and lasts longer than one manufactured using a solid wood. Cherry cabinets offer a sense of classic luxury while holding up to years of use. Oak cabinets conjure up the feel of subtle country beauty, and maple cabinets can look bright, modern and chic. Metal: Metal cabinets are terrific for those looking for a modern touch in their homes; most metal cabinets have a very forward-looking aesthetic, so they are perfect for a contemporary home. Metal cabinets are also great for home offices. Obviously, metal offers great durability, but it is vulnerable to dings and dents. Keep in mind that most metal cabinets have sharp corners, making them slightly less suitable for homes with kids running around. Glass: If you have something you feel like showing off, nothing is better for display purposes than a glass cabinet. These cabinets are certainly more fragile than those made from other materials, but they offer something other cabinets can't: transparency. Many glass cabinets are manufactured with built-in lighting systems to exhibit whatever you choose to place in them. Because of their show-off quality, glass cabinets are perfect for places you expect guests, such as the dining room and living room. Particle board: If you are shopping for a cabinet on a tight budget, looking into particle board cabinets is worthwhile. Particle board is a relatively new material produced by pressing wood particles together, which is then bound with synthetic resin. Furniture created with particle board is almost always the least expensive option and also the lightest, but you will sacrifice some durability. If you plan to move often, a particle board cabinet could be an ideal option. View All Furniture Back to Guides Directory View All Furniture
