I love the look of these bar stools and for the cost you sure can't go wrong. I put them together as soon as I got them and the instructions were easy to follow. Within minutes I was sipping a drink at the bar relaxing on these stools.

I bought four of these for our cafe, and three were broken within a month. They look really cute, but they're lightweight and wobbly and prone to tipping. All it took was one tip onto our hard floor, and the seats cracked. If you have these on a carpeted floor you may be okay.

I just loved my stools. I recently remodeled my kitchen and added a bar area. The stools are a perfect addition to the urban chic flair I was going for. The chrome body detail of the stools matched my the stainless detail of my new cabinets. They matched the overall decor perfectly. The stools go up and down which is pretty cool and they swivel too. I wasn't sure about the shape of the seat, I wondered how difficult they would be to sit in.....No worries, they are a breeze to get in and out. My only regret is that I didn't get 4.

This is an excellent product for your money. It was super easy assembly too. I was very impressed because it even came with a screwdriver! I ordered 3 and I had all three together within 20 min. I think you can't go wrong with these bar stools!

I work as a cashier. I am an older person and cannot be standing for 8 hours every day so I purchased this item for work. It is well made, very comfortable, very functional and has given me the comfort I need on the job. I would highly recommend this stool for any use and intend to purchase another one for my computer use at home. The quality is 5 star and the price was also 5 star.

I certainly did not make any mistake buying these chairs. I agree with all the reviews that these chair are great buy for the value, they look nice and very easy to assemble, took me less than 15 mins to assemble two. Very simple and elegent looks.

I bought 2 of these chairs recently and I love them. They look black in person and they look very nice and modern. I have a bar table instead of a dining table to save space and I've been very comfy eating on these. They do feel a little light and smaller people may have to put a little more effort in adjusting the height but it's not a deal breaker. Plus, when I bought them from Overstock they were shipped speedily and at a very low shipping price. They even included screw drivers for assembly! I've read comments here stating that the paint chips easily but I've had mine for a week and I haven't encountered a single chip. I guess it depends on how careful you are with them.

Good thing I have a power drills to save the assembly, it could take forever if you put it together with the tools that came with the chairs. Good price for the chairs.. scratch easily if your chair touches the counter.

It was maybe three steps to put together. Just make sure you aren't a doofus like me and make sure the foot rest is screwed in on the right side...i made that mistake and had to unscrew the seat and turn it around ( a difficult task with the weak screw driver provided - nice that it was provided though as i would've had to borrow one otherwise). Actual functionality is great though. It does sink 2-3 inches when you sit in it, but at least its adjustable so it fits to most heights reasonably.

I bought one of these bar stools just to "check it out." It was packaged very securely, and everything came out of the box without a scratch or ding. Assembly couldn't have been easier (it even came with a screwdriver -- how handy is that?!) I was surprised how comfortable the seat is -- even my husband commented on how well it was designed. I did put pads under the base to protect the granite floor (half-inch wide adhesive felt strips fit perfectly on the plastic "ring" under the perimeter of the base, If you cut them down to 6-inch lengths, you can bend them so they fit the curvature of the base. You might have to use a little craft glue or a glue gun to get them to stick permanently.) We tested the stool at our kitchen island, which is counter-height. The stool adjusts down perfectly to counter-height, but will go up to barstool height in a flash. The only caveat we've encountered with this stool is that if you're a "lightweight" (e.g. my 60-lb son, or even myself at 110-lb), it's hard to adjust the stool down while you're sitting in it -- I actually needed my husband to push it down, because apparently my weight wasn't enough to lower it when I pulled the adjustment lever. Maybe the hydraulics just need a chance to "break in" or something, but I don't consider that a show-stopper. Overall, I love this barstool and will be purchasing two more!

Please be adviced the price was ok,but very poor quality & matereals Barstool is very light ,the bost is very light can't carry the the top part,also it keeps squeesing,the paint is poor , it can gets scrached easely. I can't recomend this productes to our valued clients. Thank you

I have 4 of these and all but one is holding up well. One is starting to squeek quite a bit however. Very modern shiny appearance. The plastic seat is a glossy black. Darker than I expected for charcoal but still very nice. The large chrome base tends to show dust quite quickly but shows beautifully when cleaned. They are quite tall even at the lowest position but the back is low and as a result, they fit nicely under my counter. They are comfortable and extremely easy to assemble. Not a great bargain but I am satisfied overall.

I am one of the least "do-it-yourself" handytypes and I assembled three of these sleek barstools in a matter of minutes. It helped to have a hand drill to tighten the screws I admit, but could have easily been done with a strong arm and sturdy screwdriver. They look and feel awesome. No back support, but that's okay.

ONE OF THE TWO BARSTOOLS I RECEIVED IS VERY NOISY WHEN SOME ONE SITS ON IT. TRIED TO REASSEMBLE BUT DOES NOT HELP. STILL NOISY.

I purchased this chair as a holiday gift for my daughter who cuts my hair in her home. She needed a chair with adjustable height control and I couldn't resist when I found this. The price was comparable to the stores and with the shipping special I actually paid less than if purchased in a store. I couldn't get over how easy it was to assemble; a child could do it! My daughter was thrilled with the "hydrolics" in the height adjustability. I would highly recommend this product.

These stools were exactly what I wanted. I wanted to add a touch of modern and metal to the room and these are a little different than you can find in stores.

This is very easy to put together and just what I ordered.

Expensive looking, sturdy (already kid tested by mine!) and easy to assemble. Because my modern kitchen is charcoal-speckled granite with white cabinets, visitors keep asking me if the stools came with the kitchen! They really helped finish the room.

We really liked these bar stools, they are comfortable and look great. The only thing is that they really look black, not charcoal. Basically they are black with some sparkle- don't get these if you are looking for a dark grey.

I needed modern barstools for my bar and this fit the profile perfectly. For starters, they were 15% cheaper than most other online sites and about 40% cheaper than retail stores. Mostly easy to assemble.... the plate that joins the seat to the rest of the unit varied between all 3 units that I bought. Took some strength to get the screws in as well. Overall, it wasn't difficult to assemble and they do look pretty good.....
