Marvelous prefab
I realize this is out of stock but had to write about how pleased I was with the puchase. At this price, this piece is strong, heavy, and good looking. While it is made of pressed board, it is thick where needed and cleanly encased in a good looking laminate. I assembled it in an afternoon and found the hardware to be of above average quality and organization. Each part came in a separate plastic pouch that ascended in order according to the parts diagram. I also found the hardware to be well made, easy to install, and more than adaquate to make the assembled product very solid.The product also arrived in about a weeks time and was well packaged for shipping. Bad reviews and good reviews along with this being the perfect dimension for our guest room led me to this product. Take the time to write good or bad. I know it helped me make a good decision.

these are really cool...i put together 5 of them for my daughter...if you have a problem sliding in the bottom of a drawer while assembling, loosen the support piece and tighten after...they are unusual and modern!

Look Great
I purchased two of these for use as night tables in the bedroom. They look awesome--modern, clean lines, great color, nice hardware. I did not use the silver wood base as the height was just right without it. They were a little time-consuming to put together, but instructions were clear and all the parts were there. The glide hardware was of good quality and the drawers slide smoothly. I would recommend this product and would definitely buy it again.

durable piece of furniture
Arrived on time. delivery man was delightfully helpful in taking it inside the house for my wife, usually they'd just tossed it in your front yard. Assembly wasn't too hard. The overall look is nice, the wood quality is good. We bought two colors, the beech and coffee bean color. I personally like the coffee bean color more because it definitely give the cabinet a more expensive look and doesn't look like a typical cabinet. Overall, I am happy with the purchase and will recommend this line of furniture.

Great dresser for the price!
This dresser is great for the price. Keep in mind you're purchasing an inexpensive piece of furniture. It's probably not something that will last a lifetime, but I love the style and functionality. I'm 7 months pregnant and was able to put it together by myself pretty easily. If you're looking to store heavy items, it probably isn't going to hold up really well. But, I bought it for my baby's nursery and it holds infant clothes just fine. :)

Not worth it
This should not be advertised as a "wood chest." It is completely particle board with a laminate finish. It's not even what I would call a veneer finish. Even the legs are particle board painted silver, not metal. Very poor of Overstock to call this a wood/metal chest. I would send it back but my husband "surprised" me and put it together before I even saw it. I will be letting them know my disappointment.

You get what you pay for
The look and color are spot on. The quality not great. The drawers are a lot smaller than you would think. We almost need 2 to fit everything. Not to mention they aren't that sturdy...one of the wheels on the the inside has already broken off. I'd send it back and complain but it took too long to put together.

Perfect for the guest room
We're trying to frugally furnish a second home without looking like we found everything on the side of the road. This item was a great find for the price and matches the rest of our guest room furniture very well, almost as if it was a set. It took my husband probably 2 hours to put together but he was watching a movie, talking on the phone, etc. Excellent packaging to ensure each piece was well protected, and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. We noted how the hardware was packaged into individual bubbles rather than a whole bunch of nuts, bolts and washers all mixed in one bag - nice touch. We had no trouble at all with wobbling, drawers not sliding properly or handles not sitting tightly, and there isn't a nick or scratch anywhere on the entire finished product. The color is a rich brown and the metal accents look really good - this piece has the appearance of one costing three times what we paid. I'm tempted to swipe it for our master bedroom, but I'll just visit it in the guest room where it will remain neater than our room anyway. Another great buy from Overstock.
