This is a wonderful vent for the money. it has great looking hood that moves the air well. For people who cook fish like I do, you should go to the next one in the line. I was to cheep for my own good .I wish I would have spent the money. All and all this is a wonderful buy.

I bought this hood vent based on the reviews of others and it is definitely a great deal. I had the contractor install it, so I can't comment on ease of installation, but it looks great, the lights are very bright and a great asset above my cooktop, and the sound is much quieter than my last pop up vent. I have had several people ask about it, and the contractor told another client about it and she wants to come look at it. I haven't burned anything yet to know how well it works, but it is a great hood and looks great.

I have seen many range hoods around but nothing beats the style, functions, and price of this range hood. Simple beautiful and highly functional. I love the automatic shut off switch because I tend to forget to turn it off and it is cost efficient. Anything to save a couple of bucks these days would help! Its brushed stainless steel that means you don't have to spend forever cleaning it up. Very powerful without the disturbing noise! Great purchase and I would recommend to everyone is the market for a beautiful yet functional hood range.

I purchased this range hood a month ago and just had it installed today. It is a beautiful appliance. This is not a project we would or could have done by ourselves. I hired a reputable company for the installation and they did an excellent job. Since the cost of the hood was so reasonable, it was a no-brainer to spend the money for the professional installation. You should be aware that not all of the parts are included for the install through the roof. The 7 inch metal duct is not a common size in our hardware stores. It had to be special made which was not a big deal for our contractor, but if we were attempting to do it ourselves, we would have been in trouble. The hood arrived in 4 days! and with free shipping! Great value!! If it doesn't work as well as it looks, I will report back. So far, I am thrilled with it.

finally got my island hood installed two days ago and it really looks great....it makes a big difference in my kitchen. the exhaust is blowing like crazy. i like it a lot.

We finally opened and installed our rangehood after receiving it for a bit over a week and it is a beauty. After our contractor installed the piece, our kitchen just shine! It is like other reviewer said, a very sleek and classy piece. Not noisy at all and cleanses the air well. It seems to be made of very good quality, but of course I've only been using it for a few days so we don't know how it'll be in the long run but so far it's doing it job plus more. Just a little FYI because when we bought it we didn't realized it has many different sizes of of duct cover (we're green at this) - most compatible ceiling height for this rangehood is around 8-9.5ft. So if your ceiling is higher you could always call Overstock and they can supply you with the manufacturing contact info, we did contacted Overstock at first when we found the oppss but luckily our contractor said it's all good. Phew.....overall, this range hood worth every single penny spent on it! I love my new Island Range Hood and really recommend this to anyone interested in it.

I ordered this from Overstock because the comparable vent hoods I looked at were much more expensive - at least $400 more and in many cases more than that. When I got this, I was thrilled with the quality. My installer said it was great and he hung it so that it'll never come down. He told me I could hang myself from it if I wanted - you'll be glad to know that that's NOTgoing to happen. The bottom line is - the hood is really good quality, is very attractive and was a great value. As far as I'm concerned, that's what counts. I will order again and again from Overstock. Actually, I already do.

We looked at other brands at Lowes and Menards.. these hoods are expensive. I found this one and thought what the heck its affordable. I was shocked when I opened it and it looks nicer than the ones in the stores. It is pretty basic as far as the functions it has.. but I can handle basic.. it is also an easy install and matches our Frigidaire obsessed kitchen.
