My wife and I had debated which Kitchenaid color to buy, as colors seen on a computer screen don't always reflect reality. We were looking for something in the gray family. Our trips to various stores weren't much help for several reasons: (1) limited colors on display, (2) mixers displayed where the salesperson couldn't identify the exact color on display, and (3) we found some colors that were no longer on the Kitchenaid website as current colors. The metallic series Artisan mixer we found on Overstock in brushed nickel was exactly what we were looking for, and was*** cheaper than any metallic series Artisan mixer we had seen. After the mail-in rebate, the price was ***. Slightly less than we would have paid for a regular color on sale at ***, etc. The picture on the Overstock website were an exact match to how the mixer looked on our counter. My wife hates to buy to buy things unseen from the Internet, but this time she was extremely pleased with the decision.

We have had this mixer for over 2 years and have had no issues. I would highly recommend a KitchenAid mixer.

This stand-mixer was designed in good old fashion way. I've tested it making bread which causes a lot of mechanical forces. The frame of this stand was not bending like at the device I was using before. I made also beaten egg whites using only two eggs. The electronic inside was designed very secure and safe: If the device is in switched on position and you plug in the connector - the machine will not start. You must put the switch in off position and then on again to start the mixer. It works in my country, where we have 230 Volts @ 50Hz. I use a 1000 Watts transformer to get the 115V for this device. There is only one little strage behavior, which is not really a problem: on speed position 2 the motor is not running very constant buts it is working without any problem. I suppose this is because of the lower 50Hz in austria, in the US you have 60Hz.

The mixer arrived as scheduled. When I opened it I was to see that it looked brand new, not a scratch on it. I have used the mixer 4 or 5 times now and it worked flawlessly. I made large batch of cannoli filling with it which is very dense and it mixer it completely in about 2 minutes. I also whipped cream with it and that was also a breeze. The price was great, saved at least $140 as compared to a new mixer. Wish I'd gotten it sooner.

I bought this for my daughter and her boyfriend about a year ago and they are still raving about it. Since it was refurbished I also bought the 2 year warranty which I thought would be sent with the mixer and it was not. I've sent a message to Overstock and am still waiting to hear back. Mixer is fabulous, yet disappointed in follow-through from Overstock.

I've been wanting a Kitchenaid stand mixer for longest time. I just couldn't afford the price sticker that came with it. So, when this came up on flash deal and I had 15% off they sent to my email, I definitely couldn't pass on it. $*** shipped to my door, wowzaaa.. At first I was worry about the review on refurbished stand mixer, so I added the 2 year warranty on my purchase. When I finally got it in the mail (which is super fast), I was worried I was gonna get a flawed item. To my surprise, this mixer looks absolutely brand new. Not even a scratch on the mixer or the bowl, and almost brand new beaters. I've used it several time since I bought it few months ago. I couldn't be happier. And my favorite thing to make with this mixer is pizza dough. Oh, save time from kneading, and the dough comes out perfect. I don't bake that much, so hopefully this will last a long time.

I don't do a ton of baking, so I didn't need a big fancy mixer. I wanted a hand mixer for making creamed potatoes or an occasional dessert. This one caught my eye (great price, great brand) but I was hesitant because it was "refurbished." I ordered it anyway and am so glad I did! I've only used it 2-3 times so far, but it's easy to use and clean. I would recommend it to anyone.
