I had a KitchenAid mixer years ago but it wasn't a tilt-head so I sold it. Never wanted to spend the $$$ for a new one but saw these refurbished ones on Overstock. At about 2/3 of the regular price, this Artisan mixer is wonderful! Runs smoothly, perfectly mixed up our biscotti dough and came with attachments. The whole package looks brand new and acts like it too! So glad I finally have my KitchenAid Mixer!

I love the 4 1/2 qt bowl size of this mixer and I was surprised and pleased with the "stir" speed, that my older mixer doesn't have. I also love the apple green color. The mixer works effortlessly on mixing cookie, as well as pie dough and I am completely happy with it.

My son loves to cook with his family! I bought them the Kitchen aid mixer for Christmas 2 years ago. WHile at their house this past Christmas we saw the add for the ice cream attachment so I knew I would get that for his birthday! They love it!

I have a red Artisan Kitchen-aid stand mixer and use it pretty regularly and it never fails to work exactly as I expect. I am planning a kitchen remodel and wanted a different color so I ordered the Green Apple. Was delivered in perfect condition. Now, for my beautiful red one, I know a young lady who loves to bake as much as I do and has been working with a hand-mixer (bless her heart) and her dream is to have a red Kitchen-aid mixer. I'll be surprising her this week with my old mixer! I had lost the black knob over the attachment screw and 2 of the rubber feet so I ordered replacements, cleaned her up (didn't need much because I always wiped her down and dried her before putting her to bed) and she's ready to bless someone else now! I would like to say one other thing about Kitchen-aid. If you had one and had problems you probably just got that one-in-a-million lemon. This is a very reliable product. Please don't let one negative review discourage you from buying. No one is 100% and certainly more people are pleased with this mixer than not.

I have been using this since i bought it 2 years ago and still like it. I did use it for a smoothie today but it did not crush all the ice but gets so grinding done without the mess of a big blender. easy to wash after use

When I got this product it was in pretty good shape. Knowing it was refurbished I was a little skeptical but wanted to give it a try since the price was right. There were only a couple scratches on the side. When I used it the first time I thought it was really noisy on speed 2-3 and was going to return it since it didn't sound like a "new" Kitchenaid mixer I had used in the past. I went to a department store & had them plug in a "new" Pro 600 mixer and mine didn't sound too much louder than that one so I kept it. I have used it a few times and it does a great job. My old mixers don't even compare. This mixer is so fast and mixes ingredients up quickly. I have no regrets about buying this refurbished mixer.

The first go wasn't a big success, but I didn't have the bowl in the freezer over night. Now I did stick the bowl outside in subzero temperatures for 4 hours...which I thought would suffice. I got a recipe online to try out. The ice cream me and a friend made turned out more like a custard than an ice cream. Don't get me wrong it tastes fine frozen, but wasn't what I expected. I think if I would have used a kitchenaid recipe I would have been fine. I also had my mixer on speed 2 instead of stir so I think I botched my first attempted on many levels. I wouldn't recommend it to a friend just yet, but I might after I get a batch to work out! I love all the KitchenAid attachments I own, I can only assume this will be great too.

I have been looking for a mixer for 2 years. Never wanted to spend so much money(Kitchen Aid is expensive but worth it) so when I saw this one refurbished at such a low price I knew I had to get it. Love, love, love it!!

I'm not going to bother with the specs on this mixer as they're already on the product description. But having received this mixer last week, and used it once to make a double recipe of cinnamon rolls that took 11 1/2 cups of flour. The mixer never missed a beat, kept a steady rpm and never got hot or even warm to the touch. I can see a lot of recipces going through this mixer over the years.
