The stools took about 40 minutes to put together out of the box. It took a little maneuvering to get the pattern on the seats to match each other, since we did not think about it until the second one was all put together and added a little time. One leg on one stool was a millimeter or two short, but that was solved with a tiny pad on the bottom of the leg. They fit perfectly under the counter and the seat is very nicely padded for comfort without being too soft. The fabric is nice to the touch. The wood finish on the legs is very well done, with a rich looking patina that goes with the other furniture in the room.

We bought 4 of these in June of 2009 and LOVE THEM! Look great, and very sturdy. They're less expensive now than they were then! No problem recommending these stools without reservation.

I had ordered 2 of these stools last Spring and liked them so much that I wanted 2 more but had to wait 8 months before they were available again. They are worth the wait. These barstools are sturdy, extremely easy to put together, and look wonderful. The tool to put them together is included so even if you are not a "handy man" you can do this. The wood is medium oak stain and the seats are durable microfibre that is easy to clean. Without backs they are less obtrusive but are comfortable to sit on at my island.

These stools look great and are very comfortable. I like the fact that I can easily recover the seats if the need ever arises. When assembling, I had a little trouble getting the crossbars to fit snugly.

These were the perfect color for what we needed. Difficult to put together because the side rails did not line up properly. We needed to use power tools which we didn't have because we are using these in a vacation condo. So we had to have one of the guys who was doing our renovations assemble the stools. After getting them together, they are very nice.

These benches went very well with my new remodeled kitchen. Very comfortable and sturdy. I preferred them over the cold leather benches most kitchens have. The wood grain fit well with my cabinents. Very satisfied with the purchase.

After reading all the reviews I ordered 2 sets. They are a beautiful addition to our newly remodeled kitchen. Very sturdy and stable, not wobbly at all. Cushions are thicker than I expected. Took some time to put together. We used wood glue too. Have received many compliments and very comfortable to sit on. Highly recommend them and a great price.

Very pleased with these stools and glad that I purchased them. Easy to put together, I did it all by myself, and my husband is usually the handy one. We were looking to match them with a new table we purchased at Ashley Furniture, took a bit of a chance that the color of the wood and the seat cushions would match, and they do beautifully. Great buy for the price! I can see these lasting for a long time.

I had a little trouble putting together the first stool.... just follow the directions and it's very simple! The second stool was a snap and they look beautiful. The cushions can be reupholstered if you want to in the future, but the fabric is a muted tweed and lovely. They are soft and very comfortable and a perfect height for my kitchen counters. I thought I might need another set (four total), but they are a good size and two is enough for my space. I cannot believe the price, the quality and the comfort. Perfect in every way!!!! I like these bar stools but the mid bar was difficult to install because there were no holes already created to screw in the wood screws. My drill was not powerful enough to correctly build these stools. Once assembled they look great and was exactly what I was looking for but I'm unsure as to how long they will last simply because of the mid bars.
