I hesitate in reviewing this lovely desk. All previous reviews have described it perfectly. I could NOT be happier with this product. Price, quality, functionality, delivery and set-up of the desk--top of the line.

Excellent product well worth the money. The electrical outlets and the USB and data inputs are a distict advantage and minimize cord management without having the cord holes other desks have.

Very, very nice piece of furniture. The quality is wonderful and the oak seems to be good quality as well. Expect it will be very heavy. The design of the piece is just perfect for what i was looking for. Highly, highly recommended.

The only problem with this desk is that it took several weeks to arrive. Other than that, it was easy to assemble. It looks great and has lots of storage space. It only took about 30-40 minutes to assemble. I cannot think of a single negative thing to say about it.

This desk is absolutely beautiful. Very sturdy and heavy. When I bought it, white glove delivery was offered so I didn't have to put it together. It's perfect. Love it.

I was impressed with the work space, even though I had read the measurements. Stylish alternative to usual office furniture, if you are willing to forego file drawers, etc.. Finish is rich brown cherry finish on oak and looks like much more expensive "mission" style furniture. Hutch is great feature and holds desk lamp, clock, etc., plus has cubbyholes and handy small drawers. Two shallow front drawers are roomy - one can serve as keyboard shelf or just drawer.

This is, without a doubt, a top quality furniture item found elsewhere on other web sites for 2-3x as much as the Overstock price. I has purchased the Writing Desk, a Single Glass Door Bookcase, Double Glass Door Bookcase, Coffee Table & End Tables, 2 large Plasma TV Cabinets and a 4-pc king bedroom set from the Mission Solid Oak collection at Overstock and I am very pleased with all. This writing desk is real solid red oak with a medium cherry stain finish. It has fine black drawer pulls and the drawer slides are smooth. I am using this for a dual purpose laptop desk/vanity table in my bedroom and the power ports in the short hutch work well for cord management. The pull-out keyboard tray has a faux drawer pull-down front which is nice because when it is closed it looks like the rest of the drawers. It was packaged extremely well in foam and heavy cardboard by the manufacturer. It was shipped from the west coast in a couple of weeks and delivered to my door (Threshhold delivery) by a national freight carrier. It arrived in excellent condition and the freight carrier service was good. The box was heavy so I unpacked the box and carried the individual wood pieces to the room I was going to use it in. Good instructions and hardware were included. Assembly was simple (bolt on legs and hutch top). I highly recommend this desk and any other furniture piece in the matching Mission Solid Oak collection and salute Overstocks ever present excellent customer service before and after the sale.

I have purchased the desk, coffee table & end tables, 2 cabinets, the mirror and will buy more. I can't say enough about every aspect. The quality of construction, the beauty of the wood and each piece itself. Even the shipping was fast, extremely well packaged and one item came the second day after I ordered it and it didn't show paid on my bank statement until after it came!!!I am very particular and would state any faults had I found them. I've compared prices and have saved thousands of dollars on my purchases. I will love this furniture for years to come and I'm so grateful to have found them on overstock.com.I have made many other purchases as well and am very happy with everything to do with this company.

Saw this same exact item on manufacturer and other sellers wbsites for as much as 3x's the price I paid on Overstock. Workmanship, styling and features are outstanding. Assembly was as easy as it gets for a self assembly item. Got it for my wife as a Birthday present. She is very particular but is extremely pleased with her new desk.

Easy to put together - beautiful with lots of work space - I bought the matching bookcase and file cabinets and my home office looks fabulous

I love the desk. It is everything I thought it would be. The desk is very sturdy and the wood is beautiful. I like the fact that it has outlets for electronics and a drawer with a faux cover in front for a keyboard, should I add that later. When closed, it looks like a drawer. I think it is a terrific value based on the quality and workmanship. My spouse wasn't thrilled to know he had to assembly it, but it was very easy and took him only a few minutes to do so.

This desk is very nice. I think the workmanship is excellent, the quality is excellent and the appearance is excellent. My husband had no problem assembling it. We love mission and it fits right in with all the other mission decor we already own. There is ample work space and the drawers make a nice area for storage.
