An incredibly built piece of furniture! Finally I found a dresser not made of cardboard but solid oak and cedar drawers! Really really beautiful.
I can't stop patting myself on the back for buying this amazing dresser. It is sturdy, well-made and simply beautiful! The drawers are deep, and my husband is pleased he now can fit his bulky seatshirts in them.
I REALLY love this chest of drawers!! I didn't realize the drawer sides and back are SOLID cedar. The bottoms are a cedar veneered plywood. The chest is very well made. One thing I thought was funny is that its called American Craftsman and made in Vietnam! Now I need to save for the matching dresser before my wife drives me nuts!!
This is my first major purchase on Overstock.com and via a website. I have been looking for Mission furniture for a long time. The quality at our local furniture stores were cheap and I wanted something that would last a life time. This piece is well made. The solid wood construction is well worth the price. Definitely happy with the value of this purchase.

After many years of looking at the Mission furniture at Restoration Hardware and wishing that the price was more reasonable, I saw the Red Oak Mission furniture with cedar drawers on Overstock. Restoration Hardware no longer carries it, but Overstock does! The furniture is heavy (because it is solid wood) and beautifully made with mortis and tenon and doweled joinery and the drawers have dovetail assembly. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants quality furniture and cedar drawers. I now have 5 pieces of this Mission furniture from Overstock.
