I have been searching for furniture of this quality for years. Everything was always out of my price range or not of the quality I wanted. This furniture is solid oak! No veneer! Drawer construction is dovetailed with solid aromatic cedar that smells wonderful. I did not see any beaver puke (press board) in the furniture at all. The bed is very solid and uses angle iron for the cross supports. The craftsmanship is excellent and I could not have built this stuff myself for the money I paid. I am extremely satisfied with my purchase.
If I could give this furniture 10 stars I would! You need a couple of men to bring it into the house and assemble it but I love it. The quality is better than I expected. I ordered the bedroom furniture, matresses, sheets and the comforter set from Overstock and I'm so pleased with everything. My husband and I had breakfast in bed this morning! I highly recommend!
We were skeptical about purchasing furniture through Overstock, We are thrilled with the purchase. We also ordered two matching dressers from Overstock to accompany this set. The delivery company was wonderful and the furniture exceeded our expectations. The workmanship is superior to the sets we saw in stores that were significantly more expensive.
This is our first big purchase from Overstock and we couldn't be more pleased. The furniture is SOLID. It was like a tank carrying the dresser and night stands up to our upstairs bedroom. But, that was excactly the solid, long-lasting furniture we were looking to buy. My wife and I had shopped all over searching for quality furniture and this was by far the best value. We also purchased the 8 drawer chest to compliment this set and they match perfectly. It was shipped by truck to our house and there was not a single nick on the furniture. One of the drawer pulls did have a scratch on it. However, I called the company and they immediately shipped a replacement. It arrived about 3 days after I called. The cedar drawers smell wonderful and the wood design is beautiful. I normally like to find an area that needs improvement, but I have nothing but good things to say. Thanks Overstock for a wonderful experience.
