This was my first major purchase with Overstock. I was very pleased with everything. It shipped in less time than it said and the shipping Co. was very nice. The chairs were already assembled and just had to screw the top on the base of the table, which was very easy. I was worried that the chairs would be uncomfortable... not being able to test drive them before purchase, but they are EXTREMELY comfortable and the leather is super soft. Solid construction and the finish is very close to the picture. The 2 leaves are very heavy and the table slides pretty easy to get them in (would still need 2 people to do it). Took me a long time to find a smaller pedestal table with 2 leaves in a mission style and not pay over $2000, I am very happy!
Great table and chairs. I already owned the matching buffet and loved it so much I wanted the table. I am extremely happy with all of it. Great finish on the table and chairs. The leather on the seats is top quality, as well. Very heavy, high quality furniture. I would highly recommend this set.
We received the table and thought all was well until we put one of the leaves in. Unfortunately the leaf we put in was missing part of its finish. My claim is under review and hopefully will be resolved as the table and chairs are very well made. I just want my finish!
The table looks great and it is a solid piece of furniture. The only complaint we have is that the table wobbles a little. We even took off the preventative plastic scratch pads on the bottom of the table thinking that they were the problem. Unfortunately, this is not the issue. We had to put some of the bubble wrap from the packaging to stop the wobble in the table temporarily. Besides that, we love everything else about the table!
This was the first piece of furniture that I have purchased from Overstock. The table is nice, solid oak. The chairs came fully assembled. The table top was easy to attach to the base. It took me longer to get everything out of the box than it did to assemble. Easy, easy, easy!
