I gave the product a poor rating, however, the poor rating is not on the product itself. The poor rating is entirely reflective on Overstock & the shipping company. This rating also doesn't apply to the final, local shipping company as they were very good to work with & embarressed by the incompetance of the other parties involved. I ordered this set on 1/10/11 & received on 3/9/11 after being told on 2/7/11 that I would receive by week's end. So by 2/8/11, I was completely emptied in master bedroom & awaiting delivery. Apparently the items were separated in shipment so It took an additional 2 weeks for chest & bed to catch up with nightstands. This wouldn't have been so bad, except that on 3/9 the set was delivered with the headboard only & no footboard or siderails so we still weren't complete. Delivery man knew coming in that box didn't weigh what it should have. We were then forced to wait another 4 weeks for the completed set to arrive. We were sleeping on the mattress & boxspring on the floor. Yes, we had to move them completely twice! We had many phone calls & emails to Overstock. Their answer was a $50 instore credit....are you kidding me? I spent more than that in time, energy & frustration!!!! The bedroom set is beautiful, cedar lined & looks great....however, I next time I will RUN not WALK to a local furniture store to buy. My husband didn't believe we'd ever see the footboards & siderails, so I guess we came out ok. I would never, ever buy furniture this way again. RUN, RUN, RUN AWAY! (unless you really enjoy living in chaos for 3+ months & heavy daily dose of frustration & waiting while you wonder if you threw your money away!) It didn't help our situation that the final terminal was 2&1/2 hours away & they only delivered this way on Tuesday & Wednesday so if item didn't reach final terminal by Sunday all bets were off for delivery that week. This was never explained to us by Overstock.. FYI Buyer Beware!!!
