Mr I purchased both the Print Stand/Cabinet end table and the matching Laptop desk. The product is good looking and well designed. The problem is the furniture give off a very strong toxic odor that has not disapated after more than three weeks. The furniture is made in China and with no real health regulation one has no idea what is in the plywood, glues or finishes. I do not recommend that you purchase this product. It now sits in my garage.

Great Computer Desk I am very glad I was able to find this beautiful piece of furniture on overstock. All the positive reviews are correct. There are already two questions about this but the answer is different for both. Is there a tray for a keyboard OR a slide out tray for a keyboard. The question was answered 4/25/15 saying it was a drop down front and again on 6/11/15 saying it was flip down for keyboard. I have been searching high and low for a desk and this one question is all that keeps me from buying this.

The drawer on the desk seems to be stuck. It only pulls out about 1/2 way. The left side is fine. The right side seems to be jammed. We can't find the cause. How far out should the drawer pull? How do we fix it?

Hello cyclers, The drawer should extend 17 inches. If it is not extending enough there may be a screw on the right side of the glide that is not fully set into place. This screw could be blocking the glide from sliding open which would cause a jam of sorts. Try to remove the drawer (there will be a small plastic piece on each glide that looks similar to a large tooth of a comb, one will need to be pushed up, the other side will push down) inspect the glide as best they can to see if any screws seem out further than others. If the drawer still will not function properly we can send new drawer glides to replace the defected ones they received. Have a great day!

This piece has a drop down lid for a laptop/keyboard and the grommet goes out from the back of the drawer ; the wood on this piece is Poplar/Cherry veneers. As far as the weight bearing capacity; it has not yet been tested; would not suggest anything real heavy like a large TV; not made for that; any weight should be distributed evenly along the top.
