Mission Design Tiffany-style Pedestal Lamp

The item was damaged upon arrival. The glass panes were cracked, which doesn't surprise me as the panes are VERY flimsy. The light source is at the very bottom of the lamp so the top portion remains much darker than I had hoped. The glass is very milky which lets even less light through. I was hoping the panes would be more opaque. I knew it was going to be on the short side, but with the light barely reaching the top, it's much too dark for my liking. The top piece is painted plastic. It's heavy, but definitely not as nice looking as wood. This item was not worth the price I paid.

• How did the color on site compare with the actual product? The photo is blurry on the site so it was difficult to tell. The description said the colors would be more muted and they definitely were.
• Please tell us about the quality of the product. For the price, the quality was poor. If it was less than $100 then it would be fine.
• How accurate was the on site description of the product? Decent. I thought I'd read it thoroughly, but must have missed some things.

Amazed on the quality, both were perfect for the areas I pictured them for. There is the oil on the panels to keep them from drying out and getting brittle for shippment, recomend wipeing down all parts before putting it together to advoid the oil seeping on your floor. LOVE them, bought 2.

This is not a very impressive lamp and colors are not as bright as the picture. Even the metal parts are not that great either. \ I quickly realized that it actually take away from my decor rather than adding anything to it so i returned the product.

• Please tell us about the quality of the product. There were some misalignment but could work it out. The main reason that i returned it was that the general workmanship was not good and product was not impressive at all. It was too pricy for the quality.

This is a beautiful and unique lamp or conversation piece as I want to think it is. Assembly is easy but I did have to file down some of the soldered corners so that the glass panels would fit but that was easy. I'm hoping it will be noticed at Thanksgiving. The top is flat so that I can possibly buy something else to put on top of it since the top is waist level and could easily hold something else.
